Can I just point out that the objection about same-sex marriage somehow creating a divide in the equality of heterosexual and homosexual individuals is utterly baffling. In the same vein that a homosexual person can marry someone of the opposite gender, under the provisions of marriage equality, so too could a heterosexual person marry someone of the same gender.

I sent you two links of incestuous marriages either approved or taking place. there is one (that i know of ) of polygamists filing suit to get marriage. up until the SCIOTUS you didn't have the right to consent to marriage. So what is to say that that law won't change too. did you know that the age of "consent" in a lot of states is 16. I make the comparison because they are all deviant sexual behaviors. That is all.

It's legal in all states because of an illegal SCOTUS ruling. but you have been able to be on each others health insurance, buy a house together and file fedral taxes together for a couple years now. have you done any of these things? Has it made you feel any more validated? less and less straight people are getting married every year. It is more advantageous to remain unmarried and file separately especially if you have more than one child.

I realise now though that just because I wanted a relationship with them doesn't mean they'd want the same. They all had feelings for me too, but a relationship wasn't right for them at the time we were together. Which is fair enough. I just let it hurt me too much I guess and assumed there was something wrong with me. Which wasn't true :) x
