I do believe he said he uses distilled. If you read some of these idiots
below about as if this guy doesn't know what he is talking about. This guy
was a heavy contestant on Ink Masters and slings ink at his own shop for
years. Just cause he mixes his grey wash his own way and he is showing you
how he achieves his different. This guys is as professional as anyone out
there and for anyone to jump on his video saying it's wrong in any way
doesn't really understand that in tattooing you can always learn something
new by watching and listening to others. That's my rant PS I do agree
distilled is best as your local water is never really safe as far as
knowing for sure about contaminates.

I agree. It's them riding the noob wave. No offense intended, but when you're new at this it's a virtual roller coaster of hyper knowledge seeking. Eventually with time you realize what really matters TO YOU in your own experiences, and toss the rest. He does his grey wash this way because it takes skill, not because he doesn't have any. A noob could screw this method up terribly. I don't mean to ruffle feathers when I say Noob, either. I've been at this for 2 years, so I'm still a noob myself. I remember the days of freaking out when someone wasn't bagging or checking their needles every 2 seconds....I almost puked when I saw a pic of Kat Von D tattooing in bare feet....now I do it....It's funny that 90% of the haters are noobs/scratchers/apprentices, etc. My advice is just take in the knowledge, keep your mouth shut, and when you have experience, then comment if you'd like. Tap water is a no go in most places, but there are areas where tap water is HIGHLY regulated and is often used, mainly in other countries or in more pure elevations, etc etc....not worth the risk in my opinion, but opinions are like buttholes. Everyone has them and most of them stink ;)

How to Find a Tattoo Apprenticeship
Tattoo apprenticeships are necessary before becoming a tattoo artist. Learn how to find a tattoo apprenticeship with these tips.
Oh my gosh....looking at all the discussions here....I would NEVER try to
just give up everything and pursue being a tattoo artist without a backup
plan. No matter how talented you are, you're not guaranteed to make money,
even if it's just due to a long run of shitty luck. I'm considering
becoming a tattoo artist but I'm still going to college and getting a
degree so I can make money on the side in the beginning and have something
to fall back on in case this doesn't work out...
as a tattoo artist of 26 yrs I say most of these tube videos about getting
apprenticeships and how to use the machines of our vocation are a load of
shit ... if someone walk into my studio with one of the "online
certifications" asking for an apprenticeship they will leave faster than
they entered ... these certifications are not worth the paper they are
printed on. only truly willing tolern persons ill even be considered for an
apprenticeship.
i agree with what you're saying , but at the same time i feel the best
artists dont do it for money, fame, or anything, they do it for the passion
of the art, and if you wholeheartedly have 100% passion in what you do, you
will endure, at least id like to think so, sometimes jumping in 100% is
what it takes
ooo shyt datz reall kool! and ur still in skool dough is it true u dnt need
to graduate ?and u mean pig skin?oo nd how do u learn how to draw so
perfect without mistakes ...i fuk up alot nd im scared if i try ill fuk up
on someone..=/
so you dont need to graduate high school to be a tattoo artist?ooo and im a
teenager and i want to do this but how do i learn how to draw soo perfect
like they do??and at what age can i become an apprentice im 15..lol
i beleive 18 because im also 15 ive been tattoing on practice skins and
myself since ive been 13 and my dads freind owns a tatto shop and hes
offering me a apprenticeship but he says hes waiting me to turn 18
take art in highschool thats what i do and ive just been able to draw since
i was like 5 lol but just keep drawing and painting to practice perfect
color shading
Thiese videos are helpfull on how you should tattoo properly the reason wy
people got ugly ass tattoos is because the artist they went to either cant
draw for shit or he never has tattood or practiced over time if tattooing
is really for them they will get better thats wy use practice skin or pig
skin not just start tattooing also if you cant draw dont tattoo!!!
This is a Purple Rose, with a blue diamond coming out of it on my arm. Detail shading and filling in, by Ronnie from Pete & Cubo's Tattoo on 88-09 101ave ...
Beautiful tattoo! i'm getting my first tattoo in a couple of weeks. I have
something similar in mind; a blue rose tattoo with leaves.
except i want it on my shoulder blade.
I'm not really sure i should go for something "big" not only because of the
pain, but also because of the cost.
How much was yours?
lmfao!!!!! You're the one who started it sweety, YOU responded to a
question I posted, I didn't tell you to post to me. Dark room, ummm yeah, I
live in a 2200 sq foot house you moron, not like you in your mammas
basement. Grow up little girl. Come talk to me when you grow up and lose
the stupid hair.
@xxxRockerChick546xxx that usually happens when getting tats...keep in mind
that the machine has needles that pierce 7 layers of skin with ink. Some
people bleed more than others, that is why the needles MUST be disposed &
the machine is sanitized...hope that info gave you a better view :)
The needle actually only pierces 2 layers of skin as the body only has
three the Epidermis, Dermis, and Hypodermis it should only pierce the
Dermis which is what allows a tattoo to stay permanent and allows it to
hold its composure.. Cool vid...
oh it worked you are now second guessing that retarded hair color of yours.
Good luck getting far in life with a decent job looking like Bozo the
clown, not to mention a husband, mind ya, you like like a Dyke, and a
homely one if that!
Are you people really fighting over who has a better living situation?
Because that has anything to do with the video. Honestly, no one gives a
fuck about which one of you has it better or worse.
Hello there, thanks for replying to my comment. You are right, I corrected
my comment soon after someone else replied a few months ago. I LOVE tats &
got so excited while typing lol- thanks!
All tattoos bleed your being pierced with needle I believe sh is using a
seven mag for the shading and color... Also depending on the area of the
body it can bleed more than others..
No problem keep up the work also check out true tube and master tubes
basically the same but they are both steel tipped disposables better for
lining by far.
alcohol leads to more bleeding, more pain and the color can get in the
blood stream so be carefull with alchool and tattoos. hand soap has parfume
and gets stuck on the skin unless is a special soap.
Thank you for the info, I was going crazy looking for Cosco green soap! Was
just about to drive 5 miles to get some. Now I can go right to the
supermarket & pay no more then $3. Thanks again!!!
let people apprentice respect the trade. But while we're at it make sure its
not a lavender scented or scented antibacterial soap fragrance in soap
equals more burning and redness.
How to draw an Old School Wolf, roses and dagger Tattoo Style Design by thebrokenpuppet
Back once again! with another tutorial. This one is a full design with a wolfs face, roses, dagger and flames. In real time and I talk you through the works as usual.
this is really good man, i really like your drawings and your good at it,
but i dont understand how u consider this oldschool traditional, just the
colors, the blood, the roses are very neotraditional, the knife also looks
very neo the color use, the leafs etc etc. dosent seem really that
oldschool to me BESIDES THAT your sick at drawing and big props man!
