How to catch a shroomish heartgold

At thursday go to Viridian Forest then headbut a tree with pokemon in it,after each fail turn the same radio stashon until you get a shroomish.

Dude, you don't need to use the Hoenn sound to find Shroomish. They just naturally appear in trees in the Viridian Forest. There's only 5% chance of a Shroomish appearing in Heartgold, making them relatively rare. In SoulSilver, Shroomish has a 30% chance of appearing. You can also catch them in the Safari Zone, though I don't recall which particular area or which blocks you need to place. You can look it up on Bulbapedia.

it's likely this was answered, but you don't need the radio, just have to find a tree w/ pkmn in it (which I had trouble with)

@superdupertutorials Turns out I just needed a pokemon from the ground breeding group that could learn Curse. Torkoal was the easiest it seems. Although I found another way to get Curse onto the pokemon I want, just will take a lot more breeding, but still not 30 days worth thankfully. =) Thanks for the vid though, and the reply.

its great defensively, so if you even wanna do OU you can use it against scizors, but too many special threats, 2hkoes by jolteon and all. but its got a lot going for it, like rapid spin, a lot of usable attacks and stats in both physical and special attack, good to burn, yawn, Stealth Rock, Self Destruct if you can pull it off

i did everything i was required to do. i was in savannah. i even did the easy time lapse by setting my ds 30 days further after setting down 18 rocks. but even after 15 constant mins no sign of torkoal. a 5% chance of finding it is low but i should of at least found it by now. am i doin somthing wrong?

Is torkoal a version exclusive pokemon or can it be caught in both versions in the safari zone? Right now i have 18 rocky objects in the safari zone. And i changed the date on my DS to show that 30 days have past. What am i doing wrong?

What really makes ma mad is that you have to do it in the Safari Zone and you can't hurt Pokemon there, which really makes it harder to catch them... -_-

U can use your DS clock. Just put it on 23:59 right before u turn your DS on than that will be a day. A lot faster than waiting for a month
