Ground Force lower kit 2011 Ram 1500 4x4
We installed the 2 inch front 3 inch rear lowering kit on this 2011 Ram 1500 4x4 (4wd). As you can see, the drop is dramatic. The tires do not rub.
I installed this same ground force kit {9984} on my 2011 Ram 1500 quad cab
4x4. It lowerd the back 3.5 inches and only lowerd the front .75 inches.
Even after 100 miles of break in and having an alignment done. The truck
looked higher in the front than the back. Ground force did not return my
phone calls. After a week I took they're kit off my truck and tossed it in
the local landfill {where it belongs} My ADVISE is to AVOID THIS KIT.
unless you like throwing your money in the landfill.
Certain dodge models require an addition one inch block in the back to
level it out. The truck is actually level but the body is designed with a
slant. Groundforce does have a kit to fix that.
I have a 2011 ram 4x4 reg cab and boxes, I want to lower it but every kit I
search only go to 2010. I think you can only level the front not lower it.
help if you can!

2001 Dodge Ram 1500 lower and upper balljoint replacement
2001 Dodge Ram 1500 lower and upper ball-joint replacement, 2 wheel drive, how to replace upper and lower ball joints on 2001 Dodge Ram 1500.
Just a point of interest: The original fasteners are rivets. Rivets are
best removed by drilling thru the tail and not the head. On factory
installation the rivet body expands as the tail is compressed and slightly
mushrooms. Once you have drilled most of the center of the tail out (bit
size +1 from hole size is best), a cold chisel can be used to remove the
rest. Drill a little more in the center to relieve the tension of the
rivet. Then you use a punch to push the rest of the rivet out.
I noticed on a 1997 Dodge Ram video, that the ball joints are not riveted
in like they are on my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 truck, so disregard my comment
on the years 1994-2002, apparently a change to the suspension was made, so
look to make sure. Perhaps its just years 2000-2002, all you have to do is
look and you can tell whether yours are pressed in or riveted in. I assumed
since the body style was the same, so would the suspension,
@ The Original (Muzzy) all the rivets have to be punched all the way out,
as in all the way through of upper and lower control arms. You may have to
use a mini sledge hammer and elbow grease to drive them out, also hit the
arms on the sides to loosen/jiggle it free. If they're out, it will wiggle.
Best way to do this is to use a cutting torch and cut the rivets out.
Drilling these out is too slow. I've done a few of these. Just make sure to
be careful not to cut into the control arms. Cutting them out only takes a
few minutes instead of hours and hours. Plus you will still have your
sanity.
14 hours to just remove the rivets is quite an investment in time. Wouldn't
it be better to just replace the control arms with new (bolted) ball
joints? At least the uppers, since they are a relatively easy to do (only
$60 - $70 a side)
@mobyman, no I did not, but never done a diesel suspension before and not
sure if its the same or not. If you follow my directions, you can get er
done. Just have to be patient.
got all rivets out of the ball joints on 2001 dodge ram 2wd 1500 b UT

the part where you showed us how you used drilled by the spot welds to get
to split the entire panel was very cool. i never knew that was how you
would do it. Here in Jamaican they would beat that damage corner out the
best they can then use the filler and mold it back into shape. Thank for
always sharing the knowledge. Keep the Videos Coming!
+kenniikalonji I was just looking up videos on the Note 4, anything really. I also don't have that many apps on my phone at the moment, maybe that's why it's not too laggy?
+Karsten Armstrong why would you even be on a "how to speed up the galaxy note 4" video if you've never experienced lag as you say... i understand the whole fanboy thing but don't be in denial it doesn't help motivate the company to make better products.
I'm on the latest firmware and have 2 other people at work with the note 4 as well with the same issues. I've checked youtube and there are a lot of users with the same issue. it seems that once you load too many apps on the phone it just destroys it. It's a samsung issue and people are complaining about it even on the s6 with it's superior octa core cpu. i'm honestly so fed up, i've disabled animations in transitions, freed up space... everything. i guess it's just a touchwize issue. think this will be the last time i buy from samsung and may join apple so i can actually send a text without lag.
+kenniikalonji Hmm. I'm currently using a Note 4 and I have not been experiencing any lag. Maybe you got a faulty device - contact Samsung and see if you can get a replacement. Also make sure you are on the latest software.
+Karsten Armstrong umm no. i'm a long time android user. I'm a tech person not a noob sir.my note 4 is a laggy piece of shit. just google "note 4 lagging" and you'll see.
