In this episode, I take care of some final preparations to make back at Treno and put them to use in Quina's final test from Quale. Special thanks to reymn on my ...
Ophiuchus is a constellation that lies in the ecliptic (the line that the
sun moves on in the course of a year. Only a little part of it is on it but
it counts. The reason there's only "12" zodiacs is because 12 months=12
zodiacs for newspapers/magazines. The ecliptic also "goes through" some
zodiacs for longer period than others so actual zodiacs time periods in
horoscopes shouldn't be equally spaced but some shorter and some longer. A
zodiac is a constellation that lies in the ecliptic.
hmm, if you read teh stellazio's bailly it tells a love story about the 11
males trying to win the affection of Virgo, the only female stellazio. The
story tells you (or at least implies) who won her affection, the 13th
stellazio, AKA the conclussion of their love story, is where the Stellazio
who won her heart was found. You know, they are in love and this is where
they met for their whole..love thing. Sorry to be so long winded and
confusing :/
blapa 380 might be right but you can also find the last stellazio by
looking at each Stellazio and seeing the locations that they describe like
on the Gemeni Stellazio, it said "by the river" all the Stellazio apart
from Pisces and Aquarius have descriptions of locations in each segment of
story. You then piece the places together and it will lead you to the last
Stellazio. I think that's how it's ment to be done.
When something involve *ULTIMA*, it's always a Super weapon/magic or mass
destruction thing... Which are all great :D 13th ! GASP ! This means bad
luck ! (Don't believe in that at all... Funny thing is that 13 is a lucky
number in some other countries, forgot which one) Ahhh... The Aunction
House, always good to come back there and... Burn all you Money ! :D Huh
what ? We can fight Quale ? ...Interesting :)
Pre-medicine majors probably know all about Ophiuchus. After all, that
Zodiac sign manifests itself in the symbol of their profession. The coiling
snakes on the cross? Yeah, that's Ophiuchus. For some reason, the battle
with Quale reminded me of the battle with Bahamut from FFV. Well, I guess
they're at about the same point in the game as each other, since you're
almost ready to go to the final area.
I think I figured out the Stellazio hint. Basically each one is looking for
Virgo. Virgo is only waiting for one. And by reading each you can eliminate
some of them. I used Sagitarious as the main one and Cancer and Leo helped
narrow it down to Quans'. And im assuming when the Virgo and the scorpio
sparkled that those were the 2. idk it worked for me lol
Ophiuchus is one of the 13 zodiacal constellations (that is, the Sun passes
through it in the course of the year). Contrary to the other 12 it is not
considered an astrological sign, though. I'm not sure why Scorpio and Virgo
react though, since Ophiuchus is placed between Scorpio and Saggitarius.
Apparently there were originally 13 zodiac signs. Ophiuchus (the snake) was
removed from the set in real life, but it's still referenced in the Ivalice
games. That's why Zodiark in FF12 is a flying snake. I recognized the
behemoth as soon as I saw purple. Mini Dagger is a laugh.
Snipe! Snipe! Snipe! It's probably because I've been playing Warcraft
post-Shattering lately, but I think it would've been neat if the areas
that're closed off due to memory limitations had been destroyed
somehow..kind of like how ExDeath sucked all those towns/NPCs in the Void.
@AnimeAngel88 If you read all the stelazzios, it is said that it was
Scorpio that Virgo fell in love with and that's why they reacted when the
13th Stellazio, Ophiuchus, was collected as that Stellazio had the
conclusion to the story which tells us that Scorpio won Vigo's love.
i figured it out...the clue is who virgo[the female lead of the story] fell
in love with. So what you're supposed to do to go where every one of the
other stellazios [other than virgo of course] and find out who she chose.
so i guess that 13th one is i guess their child?
Ophiuchus is a constellation that's roughly between Scorpio and
Sagittarius. The sun actually spends MORE time in Ophiuchus than it does in
Scorpio, so sometimes people consider it the 'thirteenth' sign of the
Zodiac, or even the sign that catches all the cusp babies.
@manuelito1233 Yeah, but how are you supposed to know which one she picked?
If you read all the Stellazzios, there's only one Zodiac sign who is not
really fighting or doing anything to get Virgo's heart, and that's Scorpio.
That's the clue ;)
@Link11234 Just to clarify, that's only if you follow Jyotish or Sidereal
astrology. It's not very widely accepted as a zodiac sign in western
cultures. Typically in the west, you'd be a Sagittarius during that time
period.

THKS bobground - excellent job getting it on - so well done - rather than
reiterate my comments from hafizagunces' posting , I will say THE THIRD MAN
is ART. I was a child during this period and saw this film on a cold
December afternoon in 1949 and I remembered it all my life. - that's what
ART does for you.
the autumn scene evokes..............the zither music stirs
up.................the beautiful woman walking past conjures
..................er, oh crap! i can't explain it: let me just put it this
way.... this is one of the greatest @#$%^&* endings in the @#$%^&* history
of all of world cinema.
The most sublime ending...there are no words for it really...and the
haunting longing of the zyther. My heart breaks still, for love cannot
speak here, but weeps only. But that's what love always does anyway. What
pure genius. The finest film ever made. Period.
Why oh why are movies not made like this anymore?Back then such clever
smart sophistication.the truly KNEW exactly what they were doing.Today..oh
never mind. Man what a movie!
Saw it first-run in a movie theater when I was a kid.
Never forgot it.
Have seen it many times since.
Never grows old.
First-rate story-telling and film-making.
Great singer, bravo, not a keen watcher of this show, but have to say, I
hate it. Purely for the reason that the judges seem to be a bunch of self
centered, smug, fuckers that have the apparent understanding that they are
the heart of the show! I mean look at them, slouching and lazing about, sit
up for fuck sake. Great singing though!
Agree I hate the show too !! And nobody knows who the judges are but this guy is great !

Must confess I bought the recent Grapevine release of this film about a
year ago. Never watched it, so I don't have the Reel Classic version.
Previously, all I had seen of this picture is the excerpt in Robert Young's
FOUR CLOWNS (1970) compilation film. Barbara Kent is so darn cute and
feisty. Proves one thing for certain that a pretty young naked girl bathing
or swimming in a lake can only lead to trouble!
