The OnePlus 2 just got an update to OxygenOS 2.1 that brought a few new features. I just quickly show off those features that will come via an OTA to OP2 ...
The OTA update doesn't work for me, so I will flash it manually to test it out. Well, it's great to hear that the shutter can be fast in the manual mode but I would love to see it fast in the auto mode too.
+TechLineHD did you download the update..manual mode actually has a great shutter calibration. you can adjust the shuttr speed to super fast. ISO is also pretty detailed. white balance option seems a little simple.
yes i know that I have flashed it already (i have the chinese version). However, I was talking about a slow shutter speed of the camera, which is not improved yet in this update
seriously? not for me I leave my phone on all night without WiFi and I don't drop a percent of battery. I get around 6 hrs of SOT now it's freaking amazing
OnePlus 2 OxygenOS 2.0.1 Update Fixes And Improvements
OnePlus recently released OxygenOS 2.0.1 in this video I will discuss the changes including bug fixes, improvements, and things that are still an issue of ...
I was expecting dark mode to kind of affect all system apps and maybe even
some non system like themes did in cm12 for the opo but when I applied it,
it was so disappointing lol
I don't have the OP2 so I'm just hypothesising here, but when using the
fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone, do you think you're having the
problem because you need to keep your finger on there longer, until you
feel a certain vibration? It's not going to be like touch ID, where you're
pressing a button.
You only get haptic feedback if you have the setting on but it should register within a few seconds if it doesn't that means it did not scan correctly.
+OT4Tech thanks for this reply. anyways my instagram account is @onestop_shop where i deal in cellphone accessories ... ur videos help me in my business in some ways

Im ordering my OPO soon..But i don't know if they ship the OPO now only
with OxygenOs or with Cm11s/Cm12s (sorry i don't know all the Versions)
I really don't like the Oos..But i think there is a way to flash cm11s.
I also heard that the quality of the backcover isn't that good anymore...
Could you please help me?
+Dhananjay Bhosale A mistake to be pointed out. "Cannot connect to camera"
was not a bug. It was cause the Torch was using the camera for flashlight
hardware.
Nothing to get scared off dude. Flashing is not rooting and it's just a way of installing manually OxygenOS to your phone. Phones warranty is not effected as well and there is no harm in doing it. Let me link you as it helped a lot of people including me.
It's improving with every day passing and frequently updated by OnePlus. With the latest 5th OTA Update it has improved significantly. It's much faster with much improved battery life.
You noted that the OS isn't fully mature yet. Would you still recommend OP2
or perhaps a more mainstream phone (such as LG G4, Samsung Galaxies, Nexus
and such)? The news that there were performance issues on the OP2 is rather
alarming for me, especially considering the more than capable hardware
under the hood.
Thank you for the video :)
Please flash the official OxygenOS ROM manually and hopefully you problem will be solved. If you are not sure how to manually flash ROM ask me and I will link you to one my videos which shows how to do it. Thanks
+Aj Gomez Told you it was a piece of cake once you know what you are doing. Hopefully with all the recent OTA Updates system will be a lot more stable and you shouldn't have anymore problems. On top of that you are now fully equipped with the tools and knowledge to solve issues. Happy that you are able to successfully sort it all out. All the best girl and enjoy your phone
+Aj Gomez OK got the ROM here for you. In fact this is the official ROMS all versions lined up by OnePlus themselves. https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/mirrors-for-official-oxygen-os-roms-and-ota-updates.387615/You will find the latest OxygenOS ROM 2.1.1 under SIGNED FLASHABLE ZIPS. Just download it on your phone or pc and follow my video. THINGS TO NOTE : 1. I made a mistake in that video with the official data cable shown as not fixing in the PC USB port. It actually can and there is a link under the video where I rectified my mistake in a later video. You can connect your OnePlus 2 to your pc via the Boxed charging cable 2. You do not need to root your phone for this procedure. We are only FLASHING and not rooting the phone. Flashing is like going into the recovery mode ( by holding power + volume down together when the phone is switched off) and then installing the .zip file ( in your case OxygenOS 2.1.1 from the above link) for a newer version and that's it. 3. Make sure that you back your data up as flashing a new ROM will clear your phone completely Let me know if you need anymore assistance. Good luck friend
+Aj Gomez If you Google it you will definitely find it. Let me also have a look and see if I can find it for you. Your device doesn't need to be rooted for this procedure. We are not rooting just flashing a new ROM friend so nothing to worry about
Well you can flash the official OxygenOS 2.1.1 from the Web yourself. It doesn't void your warranty and you will get fresh installation hopefully solving your problem. There is a video on my channel I made a while ago on the First OTA Update where people ( including myself) had the same issue and they got stuck and it shows step by step how to flash the OxygenOS ROM. It sounds techy but it's not and once you do it then it's a piece of cake. Let me know if you can't find the video on my channel and I will link it to you. Thanks

I am a non rooted with 2.0.3 and when I enter the recovery menu and click

select the OTA zip. Any idea?
+ToTheMobile This was not the problem. The problem is that I had encryption on my device and the stock recovery does not support encryption. Still update fails as I am on 2.0.3
