Looking at this, you can clearly see that Jordan isn't such a great ball handler... I don't know why people make him to be a great ball handler. He has great fundamentals, but no flashyness in dribbles or even creativity... Also, holy shit the game looks bad compared to nowadays, today's teams would destroy 80's and 90's teams.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Mark Parker "He couldn't hang with A.I. or kobe." Who said he could. AI is probably the greatest ball handler in NBA history. Kobe is not that far behind him. However, none of that matters because that was never my argument. My argument was jordan had great ball skills. Period. Granted, he may not have possesd the flashy moves they have today but it doesn't mean his ball control and ability to create space and room wasn't great. "So what you are saying is irrelevent... A.I. crossed him twice in the same play."No, that's "irrelevant" this is not about AI crossing up jordan. This is about jordan having great ball skills. " And Kobe dropped historical numbers on Jordan. Like you said. Go back and watch. It's all there..."That was during Jordan's last year. Mike's knees by this time had done him in. Before his knees had turned for the worse Kobe's highest score was 27 points in MJ'S return. Kobe allowed a 39 year old man to put up 25 points in 30 minutes. What stopped kobe from stopping Jordan from almost scoring 30 points in 30 minutes off the bench? You can't say old age. Kobe was in his prime and was arguably the best defensive guard at the time.

+207 207Again, i didn't attack your beliefs or whatever when i commented on his ballhandling abilities. The fact that you are trying to defend his career so hard when i only mentioned his ballhandling at the beginning, is just really sad... Just because you have 20+ points on a mediocre team doesn't mean you're efficient, or making the team better, he just got to shoot a lot during his wizards years. Look at Kobe now, he is absolutely destroying Lakers most of the time, when he shoots less the team does better. MJ isn't old here in this game, he isn't creative or even great when it came to ballhandling, he was still really efficient during his prime years. Again, put your mouth out of MJ's dick, and understand that i'm only talking about his ballhandling. Today's ballhandlers would absolutely even destroy him when it came to pure skills. Even some of the big guys nowadays would be better in that regards...
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+David K I love when retards like YOU use ad hominem attackes without addressing the argument at hand. The last time kobe scored 20+ for two seasons in a row he was 33-34 years old. MJ averaged 20+ at 38 and 39. The reason why his FT% and 3point% was lowest in his career was because his knees wasn't giving him the lift to shoot the jumper, you idiot. Like I said in previous posts he was an old man according to basketball years. He still averaged 20+ points per game in a young man's league. In fact just before the 2001 All-Star break, he and a 23 year old Kobe Bryant, were the only players who averaged more than 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. He led the Wizards on a 15-1 stretch in the last 16 games when MJ and Rip Hamilton played together. That was when he injured his knee on February 7 and really was never the same. There's a high probability that a healthy younger jordan 12 years earlier would've dominated like he's always done. You keep saying he wasn't a great ball handler. He was a great ball handler. He may didn't have the certain cross over moves we see today. But that doesn't mean he didn't have great ball skills. Look at his games in the 80's particularly that Celtics game when he scored 63 points and tell me he didn't have great ball skills.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-tns_yPRh59Y/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAzA/KIpFTxDtSp4/photo.jpg?sz=64
+207 207I just love it when retards make points that refute themselves... His FT% was lowest in his career during Wizards years, 3point% was disgracefully low. That Wizards team wasn't good, which made him look better than he was at the time. He was close to what Kobe is now, slightly better, he was older however. Also, my initial point had nothing to do with Jordan's other abilities, he was great and has great fundamentals, but he wasn't a great ballhandler...
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+David K Jordan's creativity is seen during his earlier years. Go look it up its there. Did you get the point that I made about jordan coming back from retirement and still averaged 20+ per game in his late 30's? Those were against players like VINCE Carter, kobe Bryant, AI, Tmac, the list goes on. Jordan proved that he could play with those type of players at a high level. The fact that he did that in his late 30's shows that he would have most likely denominated in his 20s.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-tns_yPRh59Y/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAzA/KIpFTxDtSp4/photo.jpg?sz=64
+207 207 Even Derozan and some other less known ballhandlers show more creativity in every game they play... not to mention CP, Kyrie or Curry. Sports is like knowledge, it goes from shoulders to shoulders, if it didn't get better by the decades, it wouldn't make any sense. Go look at 60-70's basketball, not much defense there if any, and the offense/talent was awful compared to today's basketball... You just see it more clearly when you look at it objectively.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
You're looking at this one game. Go to some of his 80's games, and see his ball handling creativity. He may didn't have the moves they have now but for his time they were creative and impressive. Also why do you think that today's team's would beat yesterday's teams? You saw what Jordan did when he came back from retirement to play with the wizards. You saw how he averaged 20+ points per game in his late 30's. Logically speaking if he was younger like he was in the 80's and 90s he would have definitely averaged what he did during those times and possibly more. If he almost led the wizards to the playoffs what would you think he would do with the 90s Chicago Bulls?

+Jeffrey Ho LMAO.  A line up of Harp (PG), MJ (SG), Pip (SF), Kukoc (PF) and Rodman (C) would run circles around the Warriors... and shut them down too.  LMAO.  In fact the only reason the Warriors are doing as well as they are is because Kerr is coaching them, and he's applying some of the stuff he learned at the Bulls effectively.  And you somehow think they could possibly beat the Bulls?  You're funny.  You forget when Jackson was coaching the same Warriors team just the year before Kerr came on , the Warriors didn't do shit.

Kids. Jordan in his prime puts up 40-45ppg in todays NBA. Do not compare MJ to anyone. Lets just stop doing it
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PFTCURW6kIw/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAEw/qCi2IVkLHGk/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Bobby Dullay Jordan got 30 with minimal effort with a loaded team. The same Jordan that put up 37 would put up 40 plus today. Shit he would shoot twice as many freethrows as Harden a game
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Nova Knowself I believe Jordan once averaged 37 ppg. That was only because he had no supporting cast and he had to do everything by himself. If he had say, Scottie Pippen, he would not take as many shots. My point is that a good player doesn't waste all of his energy on the offence, especially in the regular season
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PFTCURW6kIw/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAEw/qCi2IVkLHGk/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Bobby Dullay Go back and watch a season like say 92. Jordan would get 30 with ease with hand checking and hard fouls. If you couldn't touch MJ add 10 points
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Nova Knowself No player would average 40-45 ppg in the regular season. Even if somehow he could do it, it would be far from logical.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
You don't have to hate Lebron to like Jordan. Jordan is the all time leader in player efficiency rating. Lebron is only slightly behind MJ in PER. Lebron's game isn't as entertaining as Jordan's but there are elements of Lebron's game i like better. He can play more positions than MJ, he can defend more positions than MJ. He is a better rebounder, a better, more willing passer. I am not saying he is better than Jordan. I don't think he is. He is very underappreciated though.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+dasia reeves Sorry but Kobe is nowhere near Jordan. Kobe led the league in scoring twice. Jordan led the league in scoring 10 times. Kobe was MVP once. Jordan was MVP 5 times. Jordan led the league in steals 3 times. Kobe has led the league in steals 0 times. Jordan won 6 finals MVPs. Kobe won 2 finals MVPs. Kobe has never shot over 48% from the field in a season. Jordan has shot over 48% from the field in a season 10 times. As much as you people want to live in denial, statistically, Lebron is the closest to Jordan. Jordan is number one all time in PER. Lebron is a close second. Shaq is third. Kobe is 19th. Jordan and Lebron's games are different but from an efficiency standpoint Lebron is the closest to Jordan.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64

No Kobe is
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+J Saun I bet you think Jordan was a better defender than Pippen and Rodman too. I bet you think he was a better defender than Draymond Green is. You have nothing to prove your theory that a guard like Kobe would have an easier time scoring on Lebron than Jordan. I have seen players smaller than Kobe and less athletic light Jordan up. Abdul Rauf gave him the business. Reggie Miller had big games against Jordan. Iverson put him in a highlight reel. Grant Hill wasn't scared of Jordan either. I think Durant would give Jordan all kinds of trouble. He would score on Jordan easier than he would score on Lebron. The thing is though, Jordan wouldn't be asked to guard Durant. Pippen would. Lebron is the Pippen for his team defensively in the same way that the Bulls could ask Pip to guard Barkley some minutes and guard KJ some minutes in the same game. Jordan can't do that because he isn't as versatile defensively. He was a great perimeter defender but he wasn't Pip. I don't even get how you could say guarding multiple positions is almost irrelevant. Pippen guarded everybody from Magic to Ewing. How is that irrelevant? You mentioned Metta getting worked inside but Metta would have done as well as anyone else did against Dream. Ask Shaq. Ask David Robinson. You really think Jordan could do a better job guarding Carmelo? Carmelo is huge. More of a SF/PF.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-GPbxyCoSz9w/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAACQ/NK5d2vhWNkw/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jason Stewart   Basketball is a team sport. So the argument of how many different positions they could guard is almost irrelevant, cuz in reality - in an actual game, they're only guarding one. Shaq is a great defender but would get crossed outside by Curry. Metta World Peace was a great perimeter defender but would get worked inside by Olajuwan. That doesn't take away from either player though because they both excel at the position they're playing. Jordan and LeBron play similar positions so you can compare them on how they guard other 2-3s. And when you compare them I thnk Jordan is a waay better defender. As athletic as LeBron is I think Jordan is more athletic and is faster and more agile and is way better at picking someone's pocket. A guard like Kobe for example in his prime would have a lot easier time scoring on LeBron than he would on Jordan. Same with Durant or Iverson or any elite guard who plays either the 2 or 3. They're going to have a lot tougher time scoring against Jordan.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+J Saun Not even close? I could see you giving a slight edge. Not even close is saying Jordan is a far superior defender. Miles ahead. Not even close. That's BS. Jordan was a great perimeter defender but he couldn't defend as many positions as Lebron. When you can defend Derrick Rose in one series and David West in another it says a lot. Lebron's defense is better compared to Pippen or Rodman than Jordan. A lot of times Jordan wasn't required to guard the best player on the other team. A lot of times Lebron is required to guard the best player on the other team in certain situations. Of course you will try to keep from doing that to keep your star player out of foul trouble. The Bulls could afford to let others guard the other teams best because they had players like Pippen, Rodman, Ron Harper. I have also seen Jordan get lit up. Magic, Isiah, Reggie Miller. I have seen Lebron get the business to though from Carmelo and Paul George. I give Lebron a slight edge on defense but i would never say it's not even close.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-GPbxyCoSz9w/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAACQ/NK5d2vhWNkw/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Jason Stewart He is not a better defender than Jordan. Not even close. I understand the playing multiple positions argument, which is part of the reason Magic is so popular. But as far as LeBron being a better defender, just no. Not even close.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
