Just a word of advice. Just so you know. For future reference I mean. When you upload a video to Youtube and the title of that video refers to someone singing, like for example, "Bill Murray Sings Bob Dylan's 'Shelter From the Storm', it might be appropriate, since you are claiming that someone is singing, that the video you upload to Youtube actually show some fucking singing. Just trying to help you out here.

Higuain, If you were to say someone else besides Higuain then you are probably on drugs because It seems almost impossible to chip that from 25-30 yards out while the keeper is on the line

If ricketts was on his line he could easily saved that he is well over 6 foot. Hiquain scored a goal exactly like that last. But martins goal obviously was the most skillful even the best could not have saved that cr7 would have a rough time trying to replicate that goal. And he does it first touch to perfection.

for the past like 3 weeks, every single goal on these videos has been amazing!...best mls season yet. i only wish i could watch it online, instead of just highlights, but i cannot, because i don't get tv package. :( anyhow, both martins' and higuain's goals had singular audaciousness and skill, uncommonly seen in any league, but i cannot choose one or the other...just wow, and thanks!

certainly should have. not calling that nonsense that anyone can see creates an advantage for the defender without playing the ball only encourages diving. if the refs and the league are serious about stamping out diving, they have to call fouls regardless of whether the victim goes down or not.i remember the same thing happening in the 2010 WC USA vs England. jozy altidore torched carragher only for carragher to drag him back just enough to force him out wide. jozy doesn't go down, but without the tugging he'd have clearly been in alone on goal. yet nothing was called.

I think Simon is a great guy but the MLS are so biased to Seattle. It's always "The Sounders deserved this" or "Seattle should've had all three points" or "That should have been a penalty and the sounders would've had a point" And to cap things off the highlights of this weekends Seattle vs RSL game wasn't shown on the channel. The league seems to consider Seattle as the "Pride of the MLS." It's true that Seattle are one of the best teams in the league, but the official site should remain unbiased.

Marshall gets the shot away unhindered, which means the referee can't call a penalty. It is basically an extension of the advantage rule; you can't give the attacking team two bites at the apple. As a Sounders fan, I wish he'd gotten it wrong, but it was a good call.

If the referee has decided to let play continue through playing advantage (and signalled it), what he can't do is then reverse that decision and bring it back. Given that there is about half a second between Marshall getting stomped and the ball going out, I doubt the referee even had time to consider advantage. There'd be nothing wrong with a penalty here - it's more advantageous than a half volley from an angle with two defenders between you and the goal.

+oldfrendIf the foul is bad enough, then the ref should give a retrospective warning or card.  But as long as the attacker gets the shot away without interference, the ref would have to play advantage, otherwise it's a double-whammy to the defending team.  I agree that an argument can be given for both sides, but that is how referees are taught to interpret the advantage rule.

but if it's outside the box it's a foul? doesn't make sense bro. marshall got spiked in the ankle; that should be a foul anywhere, anytime. if the foul was before the shot i would agree with you, but it was after and still should've been called.

+Stephen Malacaria Thats the point. Its illegal to tug someones shirt, the player does it to gain an unfair advantage. Di Vaio exaggerates it blatantly to highlight to the ref because he feels a penalty is deserved.
