I've had the unfortunate experience of being drugged. I was 14 and I did drink slot for my age because I was dealing with a lot of last bs and had a VERY high tolerance to alcohol. I met this guy in his twenties and thought he was nice, attractive so I went to his place. My BIG mistake was having my back turned to him sitting on a sofa when he opened the mikes hard lemonade. After chugging the mikes hard lemonade down I felt weird, then complete black out. I had flashes through out the night and it was really scary. He got me naked that was one flash of memory the next day, then the next flash of memory was he took me into the shower with him. Then the next flash was of the rape itself. I remeber being so afraid because during one of the memory flashes I couldn't move my entire body. He used me like a blow up doll and did things even to my bottom area :(Being drugged is THE scariest thing ever because it's like your body is completely awake when your mind has been shut down. Like you're a walking corpse with no mind, except a flash here and there of your mind waking up. The thing about date rape drugs is that they LEAVE THE SYSTEM VERY QUICKLY! Unlike marijuana which stays in your system for one month or methamphetamines 72 hours approximately date rape drugs can leave the system under 8 hours or so. So this guy saying "none of them tested positive" simply means they waited longer than approximately 8 hours that's all that means, dose not mean he isn't a date rapist because he obvious is just means he used the righ drug that leaves the body the fastest. What's even worse and more terrifying about drugging someone is there have been cases where women have complete and total amnesia after waking up or have brain damage and cannot live a normal fulfilling life all because some asshole decided to make you a victim. The most fucked up thing about date rape is most of the time the women probally would have had a one night stand with the guy if they where that interested. Like in my case I was 14, completely bullied my entire life which meant extremely bad self image and low self esteem and probably would have had consensual sex with this guy who decided to turn me into a victim, as if I didn't already have a hard enough life :(
