May look nasty, but this is very very interesting. My digestion & gas
issues have worsened beyond what i can bear. It started around 3 years ago
after taking some stupid antibiotic. Well gas gets more & more frequent and
bathroom trips take much much longer as i push and push for stool to come
forth but nothing. Tried lots of colonic treatments, eating raw,
gluten-free diet, a candida diet, and the issues just keep reoccuring. i
think i need a check-up, i'm just too broke...
@LeopardFixJeopardy I am told that the 2 large polyps I had in 2004 took
about 10 years to grow to that size. From that point on, I changed my diet
and cut out most of the red meat in my diet and 7 years later the
colonoscopy showed negative for any polyps at all. I believe that the cause
of polyps/colon cancer are part genetic, stress, and diet. I suggest that
everyone get a periodic colonoscopy screen every 5 years after 50 and
earlier if there is a family history.
Just had mine yesterday and they found two polyps. Both were removed. You
said it does not hurt. I had woke up shortly before they took them off and
the doctor said "This is going to hurt a little." This was the worst pain I
think I have ever felt. What did they do wrong? Also I was told I would not
remember any of this but I do. This is a memory I would really like not to
remember. I will be more cautious about having this done again but it won't
stop me.
had this surgery done on wens the 25th im 23 years old and it hurts so so
so bad its not even funny im sitting on a donut right now as im typing this
is the second time ive had them removed had them removed when i was 19 but
think this time was worse still bleeding a little and mine is in the rectum
so extra sensitive have crohns disease as well i wish i knew a way of
speeding up the healing its the pain and soreness that bothers me not the
bleeding
I am a 46 years old male. I just had it done last Monday, Oct 26. The
doctor removed 4 polyps from my colon. 2 of the polyps were adenomatous or
precancerous. I didn't remember the procedure. I was given an anesthetic
and was knocked out during the procedure. It was done in less than 30
minutes. But the next few days, I was having some discomfort in my lower
left of abdomen and during my bowel movements. Is that a common after the
colonoscopy?
I had the same along with the oral camera last month in Worcs. They need to
inflate the empty chamber (bowel or stomach) with air to let the camera
look round. Think of a balloon deflated then refilled. The air has to come
back out again, through the mouth is worse it passes over the vocal cord
and makes you sound like a navvy. Fear not, it doesn't hurt at all, the
worse part is starving for 24 hours! Good luck! angie.
plus the painkillers they gave me i cant take cause they make my heart race
really bad and i feel like i cant breath so extra strength tylenol is my
only pain killer its a nightmare but as i said they were precancerious so i
had to get them out like asap i accually think some of my crohns pain is
caused by the polyps in a weird way
I had this done friday. I had 1 polyp removed. The prep is deffinately the
worst part. The fun part is after the procedure when they wheel you into
recovery where you are encouraged to fart because they expand your colon by
putting gas in it. Hehehe it was funny.
unfortunately there are assholes in life.. I just learned still have to
have polups removed but not cancerous.. I am so happy.. and the person with
ignorant remarks never been scared.. but pay backs a bitch if you know what
I mean it will get him/her
@texesliverdotcom, Greetings, Thanks for this video. I have a few
questions. How long does it normally take for this colonoscopy? And is
there a right way and a wrong way of getting the polyp? And has it been
discovered what causes them? Thanks.
I just found out I am Cancer free.. and to anyone making jokes about anal
sex .. should learn things before put judgment .. I feel so much better
still need surgery but no cancer!! I hope he or she has a nice scare with
it to grow up
I have the inherited gene that causes colon cancer. My acending colon was
removed 7 yrs ago because of malignancy. Since then, I go for a colonoscopy
evey year and have a polyp removed just about every year. So far so good,
no cancer.
My mom has colon cancer that requires chemotherapy. I went for a
colonoscopy a month ago and was in the clear. Im only 27 but I wanted to be
sure now knowing it runs in my family. It's a harmless test that could save
your life.
i have got to have the camera up the backside wed 16th dec and im scared. i
have read it dont hurt but i have also read it can be abit painfull.....
and want happens if i wana pass wind ( GULP ) LOL SONIA FROM WOLVERHAMPTON,
X
had my first colonoscopy today at the age of 35. my father had colon cancer
at 47, 20 years ago. they found and removed three polyps. it's never too
soon to get this done if you have a family history.
uhm hi.. i recently had a balve movment and there was bleeding.. should i
get checked for this? im concerned because my father has colon cancer and
is in remition right now.. help?!!?!?!?!
Its not funny if they find a cancerous polyp or tumor or metastic colon
cancer like they did with my mom during a CT. The prep is terrible but
worth it in the end
Hello there! heard the talk about - H Be Gone (probably on Google)? Ive
heard amazing things about it and my brother in law said good bye to heavy
piles with it
Just had this today. One polyp was found. I just turned 37 about 3 weeks
ago. The prep drink was crappy but the procedure was nothing at all. GO GET
CHECKED!!!
Are colon polyps normal? The doctor found about 7 in my Sigmoid colon today
and removed them all and sent them for biopsy, it seems like quite a lot =/
This doctor is awesome, and utilizes a pilot voice as he navigates through
dook chutes.
