(the kind of analytics that simply wouldn't exist) how many were legitimately trying to have an affair outside of their closed straight marriage like the website intended? who was in open marriages? how many of them were single and treated the site like any other hookup/dating site? were there any success stories of people who met on ashley madison and started a successful healthy relationship together? and this is only the straight possibilities of users, the gay/bi/trans userbase is understandably quite more sustainably larger, if the sweeping majority of female profiles is suspected to just be fake accounts. i'm going to go out on a limb here and say many of the users were not people having affairs outside of their closed marriage.
