Jack hill, while you are undeniably correct that the doomsayers will definitely claim it to be the end of times, you have to account for the time it takes for information like this to reach everyone. Scientific discovery isn't typically reported on primetime, so I say a year, or a bit less. Then, Tamu Massif will be their scapegoat. You have to remember, the mere mention of Nubiru is all it took lol. They think Yellowstone was the largest eruption in the US, and don't even know what a Caldera is

People, if you think this volcano is going to release a globe-shattering explosion, you're wrong. Tamu Massif is an extinct shield volcano, and if it were active, it would be limited to flowing magma like Mauna Loa.

Bet it wont be more than a week or two before the end timers will say that its about to erupt or that {THEY} will use HHARP to cause it to erupt!}
