+Jordan Guy There are undergarments people can wear for tight clothing that helps to conceal it (as well as techniques for dressing). y'know, in case of spontaneous boners and such.

The OVER USE of the Star Wars music is so irritating, almost feels like
they Disney is mocking it now, don't they have any original ideas for that
to create their OWN moods and stories of suspense with?

@3:40. Ninjas did not use katanas. Katanas were expensive, long, fragile,
and was symbol of the samurai class, which the ninja were rebelling
against. Ninjas wielded short swords that they made themselves and were
made out of whatever pieces of iron they could find. In the original
comics, and 2007 motion-capture film, Leonardo used the fictional short,
straight-edged ninjatos.
+Robert Walker In the original "Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" comic books, Leonardo used Ninjatos, and he used them in the movies, too.
+gcHK47 Where does it say about Ninjatos again? "Historically, there is no physical evidence for the existence of this katana-like sword legendarily used by ninja". Oh yeah, they're katanas!
(hears Splinter then he appears on scene and I scream) oh my god! (1:37
baby turtles in their little beds) AWWW (2:49 splinter teaching himself
Ninjutsu, sees baby turtles) EEEEEEE (stares at the screen in horror).
This could have been a really good movie, but it needed another director
that wasn't Michael Bay. They would have done the CGI better and made it
look like the turtles hadn't collided with a wall.
I haven't actually watched the movie but I have watched Nostalgia Critic &
AVGN's review of it. I love TMNT (my favourite scene is the snow chase
battle), I never watched the original series, the TMNT that I crew up with
was the 2003 version, which I think did the back story better then the
original but that's just me.
I gotta admit though the turtles outfits are great and fit their
personality, also the Turtle Tots (I've been reading far too much TMNT
fanfiction) are just sooo cute. The first paragraph is my reactions
to certain part of this scene. Splinter looks horrible but kind of grows on
you but the Turtles when they are younger look horrible, the CGI looks
really badly done.
I love the TMNT and some parts of the movie get it right the rest fail
miserably, I don't hate the movie I just don't like some of things that
they have done. Some of the dictions are clever while others are just
stupid or annoying.
+Robert Walker There's never been a case where multiple Turtles have been interested in the same person at the same time, so there are no 'orgies' involved, and it's just an unfortunate consequence of the turtles having no females of their species and being raised in an environment that would promote human ideas of beauty
+MarcusSLazarus I don't care what it is, if we the audience would know about this, why would Viacom care about this and want to promote interspecies orgies?
+Robert Walker It's not really an Oedipus Complex as Mickey didn't know April was his 'mother' early on (and given past precedent he may get over it later), and aside from the cross-species barrier, there isn't really anything 'perverted' in the 2012 dynamic as April and Donnie are the same age in that series
+ShinobiPXO And the the origin story of this film was taken from the IDW comics. While I like the concept of April being the mother of the Turtles (sans the cutoff of the boy who immediately loses his turtles), I don't like how there's a Oedipus complex coming from Mikey and Viacom is treating it like it's normal (next to Donnie's serious case of perversion in the 2012 series).
+ShinobiPXO Actually, I think it works; if going with the version where Splinter was always a rat, it makes little sense that he could remember enough about Ninjitsu from watching Yoshi in his cage to pass it on to the Turtles, but assume that the book just helped him get started on what he'd need to look for to teach his sons and it could work
+Lucas Rackley I said was amazing he made it less believable. I already know that the origin story is hard enough to swallow but the thing with splinter is what ruins it by taking away his connection to Yamato Yoshi. I mean you could say that after being mutated, Splinter could remember all the lesson Yoshi went through to become a ninja and then passed this on to the turtles. But is it really more believable that Splinter found a 12 page booklet in the sewear that categorized all aspects and training of ninjustu, and that he could become a master in a couple of years simply by reading this little book? That would mean the guy who threw it away must be as good a master as splinter
It's fiction. It's never going to really be believable. Even if it is science fiction. I will tell the problem I see as of right now. They did not seem to even consider being accurate with the franchise. They did not really research the franchise. More like they just watched the movies and maybe flipped through one or two episodes from all of the series that have been. Finally, when they decided that they had enough material. They just threw it all together in a half-assed sort of way.
