He may changed his view on world, but his message is still the same, so it means that his views never have changed, maybe thats the reason why he converted to islam, cuz it was him and it will ever be

To me, Cat Stevens, his music, will live forever in my heart... regardless of religion, regardless of anything, here is a man who put his very soul into songs such as this one; and who's voice... who's voice has never been matched before or since. I grew up listening to his music in the 70's. My father was a big fan, as are myself and my siblings to this day. No singer/songwriter in my life has ever brought such genuine emotion at times of happiness, and of sorrow, as this man has. I'd just like, if it were possible, to thank the man from the bottom of my heart for his contribution to this world. Thank you Cat, thank you Yusuf, thank you whomever you wish to be called.. just, thank you for being a fellow human being - an extremely special one, at that.
