Como puedo sacar numero control para mi licencia de Maryland?
I do not own anything related to the MVA, it's website, web design, or intellectual property, ideas, structures, or components. This video was made for educational ...
funny story to that... i heard an ambulance coming down the road near where
i lived, and he was coming by on the main road, but he had the red light,
and the people that had the green light were the people coming out of a
parking lot. and so the ambulance was about to go by on the red light. but
a guy pulled out in front of him thinking he could beat it and the
ambulance slowed down and once that car was passed the ambulance started
moving again, and another car pulled out in front of it. stupid
Oh really? I did not know that. There is a fire department around here that
goes on about 750 calls a year, protecting 18,000 people in 7 square
miles.. so not big by any means. They gave up their custom chassis engine
because it was too expensive to maintain. Not sure if they just couldn't
afford it anymore or what. They have an International engine, and just
ordered another for their new station. I guess YMMV.
BLUE LIGHT LAW N.J.S.A. 39:3-54.12 Under NEW JERSEY STATE LAW, drivers of
non-emergency vehicles shall yield the right of way to the vehicle of any
member of a volunteer fire company or a volunteer first aid squad or rescue
squad displaying emergency warning lights as in the same manner as
authorized emergency vehicles (N.J.S.A. 39:4-92).
I volunteer with the South Australia State Emergency Service and when i'm
responding to a call out drivers sometimes pull over or if they are
learning to drive for the first time the stop in the middle of the road and
there have been times where we havn't had time to stop and have rammed them.
Vehicles with courtesy lights in New Jersey are not permitted to break
traffic laws. However, it is required by law for vehicles to yield to
vehicles using blue(red) lights. Hide-a-way and headlight flashers
(commonly known as wig-wags) are not allowed on a POV in New Jersey.
Has to be kinda nice that traffic kinda keeps moving slowely when your
responding; in my area when we are responding with our engine or ladder you
have people stop dead in intersections looking in the cab not knowing what
to do. It gets frustrating
i am the same way when i see a fire truck or a squad car or ems i pull over
let them go by i use to be with fire & rescue and people wouldnt move out
of the way and they need to when we r responding to save a life!
"Any fire/ems vehicle or pov must display red light or lights visable 360
degrees and a siren audible up to 500ft away... any combination of red,
white, amber but red must be visable 360 degrees" is this correct?
I saw the photos on their site. the accident was with a chevy cavalier and
a buick century. . . .at least that's one positive thing to come of an
unfortunate incident: 2 more POS gm vehicles off the road!
Interesting to hear. City of Toledo, OH where I'm at, runs 50k+ calls a
year, has a fleet of 17 Peterbilt engines, they seem to like them, they're
ordering 2 new heavy rescues on the same chassis.
no one in my area really pays attention to EMS. really makes me mad when im
riding ems and when were responding to somthing bad, but then agen everyone
doesnt think about us untill they need us.
Probably unlikely that the lines would have fallen but I still wouldnt have
parked the apparatus underneath live lines (5:15). Constructive criticism.
Nice vid. Beautiful view from the station
It is interesting that NJ is the only state that requires everyone to pull
over to 'blue lights'- which are the volly ems and fire pov's. It is not
only a courtesy light in NJ.
Just when I was about to comment these guys for not creating undue ruckus
at the first intersection they had to go and turn on the damned electronic
siren and F it all up.
as long here not in the middle of the road and on the far side on the right
there ok, they dont have to get in the ditch just far enought where the
truck can get by
I totally agree. It's one thing to ignore or just don't care an emergency
vehicle, but it's another if you just can't move. I wish they'd give out
more citations.
is that a POV at 3:10?is the guy who walked past the rig when it was being
repositioned the same one from the pickup at 3:10?why was the rig
repositioned?
