Hope for Haiti: Youth Mission Trip, Spring 2007
[GIVE IT A FEW SECONDS TO START] March 31 - April 5 2007, Fruit Cove Baptist Church sent a group of about 20 youth to Haiti on a mission trip during their ...
We took a lot of footage of beautiful Haiti, like the beach I mentioned,
which was the most beautiful bach we've ever seen. We are not disrespecting
you, rather the point of our trip was to help in needy areas, and the point
of the video was to show our specific work there, not to document the
entire country. We know how beautiful Haiti is, but showing that off was
not the point of this production. The point of this is merely to show the
work we did, and that was helping the poorer areas.
We did film a lot of the country's more beautiful areas, including the most
beautiful beach our group has ever seen. The purpose of this video,
however, was to show the work we did, not the sightseeing we experienced in
this truly beautiful country. As such, all footage includedin the final cut
was centered around our work, which took place in the dirty parts of the
country, not in the beautiful parts.
ya right! while you are going on ur way to ur project places dun know just
take some good images too i ve notice all those mission k2 always shows mud
and pauverty is that a way to disrespect us again... that's all i am asking
cauz i saw some places here i don't think your project are there ...anyway
That is really amazing!!! Its amazing to see God work in those times! Its
cool because our youth group used the same song kind of to be a theme song
for our mission trip this summer to Ada, Ohio. God bless you and I hope you
continue the good work for God's kingdom!!!
wow the place looked so much better than it does now. it takes a thing like
this to make me see that satan must want the worse for us. it so sad...that
a community already poor was fated to have the earthquake happen....god
bless them thanks for posting this video
Awesome! The church is sending youth teams back for the 4th and 5th times
this year. We also send out several men's and women's teams every year or
so. We work on the outskirts of Port au Prince, as well as the surrounding
villages. I'll come check out your page!
I've taken my youth group on 3 trips to Haiti in the last 4 years and we're
planning one back this year. Will you do another trip? What part did you go
to? We go to Terrier Rouge in the north. There's a few videos on my page.
