brand new toshiba qosmio x875-q7390 this is a nice laptop, but is just a other regular laptop after you get tired of playing games in 3d, the battery is not that ...
wow that shit sucks. You keeping it or you plan on returning it? Yeah the
asus has better cooling and is pretty quiet but the display and speakers
are better on this one.
Today, Friday June 20, 2014, I received my new Toshiba Qosmio X75-A7180. I ordered it a week ago at "DealFisher" through Amazon. 2.4 GHz Intel Core ...
Wow, someone as video savvy as you are still messing with those doggy
Windows Computers.. Why haven't you made the switch over the the good
stuff? MACbook Pros? As a video editor (Motion5 and FinalCutProX, and
Logic X) can't be touched by any thing in the Windows universe.. Why ALL
Movie and Video production shops would not be caught dead on a Windows
Computer... Will look forward to your transformation.. LOL
+Donald Garrison Sorry for my tardy reply. I already had my transformation. I was working strictly on the Apple platform until Apple introduced OSX. This was the day I switched to Windows.
Qosmio 870-11H -CRYSIS 2 HIGH DEF Pack.
Meet Mr.Freeze...Qosmio x870
So far I like it. It does have some flaws here and there naturally, such as the annoying double click on the sensitive touch pad instead of the normal 1 click button ...
That's awesome. I am having the same prob. with my Qos. x500 too. It
started doing that frustrating shutdown thingy after 1,5 years. First i was
thinking it was an overheating issue but nopes it went worse and worse. Now
its in tosh. service for the 3rd time and they couldn't fix it plus they
caused new issues/harm. Shortly they screwed my laptop. Now they are
offering me to replace it with a "display product" which i refused. They
should give me a new one. Looks like I will have to sue them...
I usually double-tap the light and when it's off the touchpad is useable. I
find it annoying since I rarely use it so the light is always on. I could
shut off the lights and everything, but I like my red keyboard XD As for
gaming, I have Amnesia: The Dark Descent and don't use a fan under my
laptop. But if I had to say what I normally use my laptop for, it would be
working in Paint Tool SAI and for school.
Cool! Thanks, this'll help me a lot~ OuO And it is the smex~ Sadly I don't
know how to keep the light on without it turning off after a while. And
hopefully you'll get it all working in your favor. I don't really have a
lot of time to game, Amnesia I got because I like to mess with my
environment in the game, which reminds me that I still have to try
Half-Life and the Portal series along with other games.
What kind of locks are you talking about? I haven't encountered anything
like that just yet. I thought about getting Alienware or an Asus, but why
go and spend money when I got credit back for the other qosmio that Toshiba
couldn't fix, ya know? The plastic is pretty dissapointing for me, but so
long as I don't encounter some serious issues then I think I will be fine.
Have you had any video problems with this computer playing games? My last
X870 the video card died in gaming mode. It would work fine as long as you
didn't play a game, if you played a game, the screen would go like snow on
a TV set and lock up the system. So far the replacement has been good, but
I think anyone with this computer should buy the extended warranty.
I have x870, and I am also a bit dissapointed with plastic, and some
annoying details. I wish I was smarter and bought Alienware, or Asus G
series laptop. This is a brutally strong machine with lots of locks all
around itself, maybe next bios (now it is ver. 1.50), is going to solve
some stuff. Until than I will try to sell it.
I personally love the keyboard since it's perfect for my hands. the keys
are all very easy for me to hit and since I'm a fast typer it makes it easy
not to make nearly as many errors. The keyboard is also very quiet even
when I'm typing at high speeds, so it's a good laptop for the library days~
So far no, but if I do I'll be sure to report it. I've been able to play
Amnesia just fine so the video card seems to still be functional. I have
the warranty for sure, I made sure to get that reinstated when they
refunded me for the x770 that wouldn't work worth the crap. Thanks for the
info!
Not at all. My current Qosmio has behaved quite well. I haven't really
noticed any problems with it so far in terms of performance. It's been
running smoothly since the day I got it so I have to say it's a 100% better
model then it's previous incarnation OuO/
Actually not at all, my computer has shut down once from overheating at
all. It's kind of strange that you have that issue going on with it. o_o I
hope you can find a solution soon...
Would you happen to know how to open this up? I have to replace the thermal
paste on mine and I've checked everywhere and couldn't find a way to open
it so now I have to ask around.
Totally BS. I've been struggling with them for over 2 months now. Luckily
they FINALLY agreed on sending me a brand new qosmio within this week. I
hope things go well this time. :)
Hehe funny video. This laptop is coming in the mail for me tomorrow. And I
though you called it Mr.Freeze because the system always froze up, that's a
relief! xD
