Red Leader, this is Gold Leader. We're startin' for the target shaft! Man i love it. Remember back in the days the Y-Wing was my fav rebel fighter. Beautiful UCS set mate. Unfortunately this wonderful model is missing in my collection... but not for long ;)

Looks really nice. I'm a bit concerned about the engines. To me those tubes appear to sag a bit. Might just be me. Makes me want to hock some of my old Transformers sets to get one. Although I think I'm going to settle on the UCS Red Five and maybe get the Ewok Village and Death Star play set once I have enough. Now that I know where to get instructions and the parts for these I might make the older sets myself temporarily until I can afford the originals. Albeit I'd try something different to stiffen up those engines on the Y-Wing.

+gunplanut Cheers mate, it does look a little deceiving but they don't sag well not yet anyway. Great list of sets your eyeing off, I hear the DS is retired in the States but it is still listed on the Lego website for Australia, but if it is retired the price will jump pretty quickly. It can get expensive Bricklinking the parts for old sets especially if they have rare parts but you can always substitute parts to make it cheaper. Great to hear from you :)

Wow... thats some hardcore lego building when you sort it out into little tubs before building... whatever happened to throwing all the pieces into a big pile on the carpet and rummaging through till you find the elusive piece? Thats half the fun of lego :D

the only thing i hate about these time-lapse videos (not just yours but everyones) is you people never show the finished product in regular time for a few seconds afterward. we barely get to see what it looks like.
