A really quick tutorial. Sorry, I know it's not much but I was barely awake when I recorded this. I even had to amplify my voice audio track. Yeah.... But oh well.
+Taylor Nicty it didn't help because at 3:47 iwhenever I clicked on the GC controller 1 I would get range check error, but I think it's fine because I configured all the controls on my own.
+Clay Pennington yes you guys are right drivers can be a pain sometimes thats why im also trying to Help SSF2 get official controller support: https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3715667 right now there is a bug stopping official controller support in flash but if you go to this link you can let adobe know about this bug and just maybe they will fix it.
+oGBeginner Sorry, looks like I was speaking from ignorance a bit here. It seems that the adapters come with driver software, and this is additional downloads for this specific game? Yeah, not certain what that is about. But if it needs it, it needs it I guess.
+paigegame Sorry it took so long for me to get back with you. Ok open xpadder and click on controller symbol and make your own layout by clicking new make sure your triggers are set up as Axis RX + and name this gamecube SSF2 and then follow the rest of this tutorial let me know if you need any more help.
6.2 is the equivalent to windows 8, now if it detects your windows 8.1 as OS 6.2 (windows 8) then I assume that Xpadder is not yet fully supported on Windows 8.1. However, you might still get this to work in compatibility mode.
i have the controller adapter and i used on dolphin, and for a week i
played well melee but today i can't used, i search for the controller and
in the options do not give me the option to put the adapter, what can i do?
and simple also to test the controller if you press a button it should highlight the button then you can set it. it leaves it highlighted for you and you can then go to all the buttons

+Lil' K Rice No unfortunantly. Its not a limitaion of the USB, but PS3 controllers are not made to connect with PCs, so you'll have to get an adapter that the controller can connect to. ~BluRR
+Lil' K Rice Yes you willl need a adapter for a Xbox or PS3 contoller for it to work on a computer. You can find them on eBay, or any other online store that carrys them. As for setting up a PS3, I have never set up one personally, but im sure you can find tutorials to help you with that! ~BluRR
+Thegreninja47 or Jeff 3MLG5U No, but that is due to a limitaion of SSF2.
Since they programed SSF2 to run on the keyboard, it has ether a button to
dash, or double tap to dash. I feel for you though man, its kinda hard for
me to get used to it too. ~BluRR
