Indeed, there are some LEGO vehicle sets that have working rack & pinion
steering, 4 wheel independent shock mounted suspension... So I can see
where you are coming from. Though to be fair, this is simply a fun little
limited edition cross-promotional item that just costs a few dollars at a
petrol/gas station. In view of that... the stickers are entirely justified
given the price-point and IMO very welcome. They look great in making
standard bricks unique & applying stickers is part of the fun!
Lego sweetened my pre-teens (late 80s, early 90s). spreading all the bricks
along the floor just to find the one piece missing to complete the rubber
band gun/spaceship or the space monorail. Technic was also starting to get
big at that time. This thing is tiny - does it also have an alt-mode? Maybe
our danish neighbors stopped doing that - but back in the days every lego
kit had at least one alternative... Thanks for making me remember part of
my early youth ;-) As always - a good review.
