That video is nothing worth, because it don't show the "speciality" of MBK
. That building contains concentrated hundreds of mobile shops, for people
who like to buy gadgets or smartphones it is the address no 1 in Bangkok.
For clothes it is the area around Bayoke Tower, close to pantip ( computer
and photo equipment)

Hey Mark (though maybe a question for Ying:) - where would you recommend to
shop for good quality but cheap clothes in Bangkok? Chatuchak market or
another one? Mens clothes, shirts, t-shirts, trousers, shorts etc.
One of my favourite Thailand vloggers said they're leaving Thailand, good
to see that you're still enjoying it.

+michael semmence Most of retail shops get products from Chatuchak market. Many shops in Chatuchak market get products from border market.

Cheap goods from Asia being sold to the middle class, lower-middle class,
and poor people are pretty much dominated by Wal-Mart here in the US.
Plenty of suburban shopping malls are being abandoned and shutting down.
The low class goods being sold at the individual retailers at Mahboonkrong
in Bangkok are pretty much the same stuff that can be found at Wal-Mart.

+Peter Smith yes, if that is possible........went to MBK numerous times with Thai male business people and was given the "inside" story by each.........the Thai's know that most of the stuff is junk and the name brand stuff (like cell phones) is complete counterfeit or re-packaged "refurb" goods..........but the government rarely addresses this issue..............Terminal 21 is a much better place to get your Mall on!!
