Didn't you pay attention to the scene? Gwen Stacy's death resembled that as in the comics: Spiderman shot a web to catch her while she's freefalling, which leads to physical damage. It's a controversial subject: Either Gwen died because she slammed her head on the ground or because whiplash. Her brain swelled, which caused the nosebleed. Her neck or spine could've broke from the tug as well. Just wanted to clear that issue lol.

The tv spots spoiled Gwen's fate/death, which was cause enough for me to cancel going to see the film with the boys last year. I might watch the film on netflix some one of these days, and maybe I can film myself reacting to the scene. The slow motion shot of Gwen falling with the look of terror in her eyes surrounded by the falling debris is unimaginably harrowing. It just doubles the grief of losing a beloved female character, big time!  Fans affected profoundly by her death would have to struggle to drown the haunting image of her falling down the tower from their distracting thoughts. Either way, how's life nowadays?
