It sounds good. I have a Yamaha PSR-185 (given to my family many years ago,
but I have only recently started playing it and I'm also learning on my
own), but I would like to get this a couple of years down the road. It
sounds a lot more like a real piano than the PSR-185. From the other demos
I have seen, it also has a pretty darn good electric piano sound (I'm a big
fan of the electric piano's sound).
Having been raised in Seattle- I was no stranger to slugs- we poured salt
on them, heh but - they leave trails so, you might want to figure out how
they're getting in your basement, and when you do see one REMOVE IT before
you step on it with bare feet and spend the next 30 minutes scraping goo
from between your toes, nor do you want to see new goo trails all over in
your house, do you?
I learned Fur Elise from my keyboard its a PSR-E223. I plan on getting this
keyboard for my birthday since its bigger and has Graded Soft Touch like a
real piano. On other videos they say that the sound is amazing even playing
simple songs. Anyway, where did you learn to play moonlight sonota? I've
been looking but its all to hard or long or boring.
On your keyboard you will see some buttons in a row, five of them have the
numbers one through five. When you find those buttons, hold down the "rec"
(record) button, and then while holding that, hit a button to the right of
it, start with "one". On the LCD screen it will blink: "REC". Once you
start playing, it will start recording.
Fur elise u are missing totally in the notes of the right hand clasic song
are not made to be learned by ear, the clasic music is the precise music so
it must be learned with no variations, the songs u should learn by ear are
the popular songs, specially if u wish to play along with a band
@whchuang Both are relatively the same. I have looked at many comparisons
for these two models and the only difference that I have found is price and
color. The dgx 230 generally is a little bit more expensive. I am trying to
find out if the sound is any different. I hope this helps!
Hi ^^ Thanks so much for the review. I was wondering? Is there any
differences from the dgx-230 and ypg-235? I was thinking of getting one of
the two but I can't decide which is better? Thanks again^^
I think you play pretty good. I was thinkn about getting another keyboard.
I have a yamaha ypt-310. Do you think the one you have is better than the
one I have? Thanks
I just ordered this keyboard in Amazon, I started learning piano not so
long ago so I am exited about having this in my hands to practice at home.
As far as I can see it sounds pretty well and it has plenty of keys. It
might be enough for someone who is learning. What do you think about it?
This keyboard is great, i live at tijuana mexico ( next to the boarder to
SD) bought this from a craigslist ad for 100$ came with stand and power
adapter, so cheap!, here in mexico this keyboard goes for about 500 dollars
with out ac adapter or anything :/ damn prices over here suck
hi :) I m thinking of ordering this keyboard from Amazon . I started
playing the piano a month ago and I heard that it's a very suitable
keyboard for beginners . so.. what do you think ? do you still like it now
, after a year has passed since you bought it :)) ??
@ramenisify I have that keyboard as well and as for me what I can say being
that I own an acoustic is that they're not really weighted they're better
than synth action keys but they're still not weighted , but they do feel
good though.
@Lekkerdom Keys feel good, they aren't weighted keys just soft keys. But
the keyboard has hundreds of sounds to play around with. I just got back to
playing, you should do the same.
@angeluspennae Its perfect, you can't go bad with 76 keys. great sound I
have the keyboard connected to my surround sound and its amazing! Hope you
enjoy it like I have!

Yamaha YPG-235 76-Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard
The Yamaha YPG-235 is a portable keyboard with 76 keys, a fine piano sound, and a complete onboard accompaniment system. It has great-sounding built-in ...
Can anyone help me out, I'm trying to connect this Keyboard to my laptop,
but I can´t record anything, not even make any sound, i think i've missing
one step or two.
I already have one but I dont know how to import voices (the sounds it
makes like FngrBass and Fargo, etc.) Isnt there a way to put voice packs in
them?
