Pictures of the fire in Downtown Boone in early 2009. This fire resulted in the destruction of the interior of one building and making a neighboring building unfit ...
@mwkmorlan @mwkmorlan I had listed that these were posted by KWBG and not
the photographer because KWBG did not list the person who took them on
their website. If you give me your name I would be glad list it in the
description. You may want to talk to KWBG about listing the photographer
when they post images on their site. Please remember that this video was
made in remembrance of a historical and tragic event that devastated the
downtown area, and not for personal gain.
I think it's awesome that you give credit to those who helped put the fire
out but someone lost their LIFE in this fire and you don't even mention
that. That's kind of insensitive.
maybe you should give credit to the person who actually took some of the
pictures... especially since i took them.. please dont steal pictures
without giving credit..
thanks so much Willy....my friends have been telling me i need to work on
my self promotion ...may be I'll get the hang of it yet.......your correct
on the drop-D tuning....i tend to use that tuning quite a bit in my
gigs...as well as on the CD...enjoy the CD...let me know what you think if
you have time...thanks again
You know it's a great song when you can't help yourself from singing along.
My folks loved dancing together even well into their 80's and 90's. They
would have loved this song. Really enjoyed listening. All the best. ~ Mark
Thanks Mark...another thing that added to the history of the tune...my dad
was an Arthur Murray Dance Studio teacher in Iowa, Wis and Neb while I was
growing up in the 60s and 70s
Thanks Willy....the background tune ( Waltz In Heaven ) was inspired by my
grandparents ....its recorded on my CD "Invisible Man'...available on CD
Baby ;-)
