Okay your comment made me cry xD Thank you. I'm one of those girls. I don't wish I was told I was beautiful, I've been told that. I wish I saw it myself. I just can't see it in myself, and I guess that's the part that hurts the most for me. You're comment is amazing and motivational, and just something people don't say anymore. All we do now is criticize, rather than taking the time to see the beauty in people. Thank you for being able to say "you're beautiful" even without seeing.

I glee fan just like a lot of people on here and don't get me wrong I love the way glee did it (mash-up of "I Feel Pretty"), but I do prefer TLC's version better. And a lot of people saying that this version is crap, just think, there wouldn't even be a glee version if this song never came out. I guess growing up with them I more likely to enjoy originals than covers.

Nobody needs to tell you you're beautiful. Nothing anyone says defines who you are. You need to believe it for yourself. I understand how you feel. Some days are worse than others, but you just gotta keep moving forward as best as you can regardless, and make sure you continue being a good person because that's where the real beauty lies :)

people sing what they know. its a sad testiment of the times when all people sing about is money, fuckin bitches and getting slizzered at parties. people used to sing about real things, personal struggles, love, human hope and perseverance. now everything is so manufactured and materialistic. i miss the 90's

I wish my daughter Lily could hear this song she's so beautiful inside and out but she struggles to see that. As he father we all want what's best for our kids and we want to immediately fix it but at the end of the day its them who has to see for themselves what others have already been seeing forever.

So go out there and embrace what you've been given regardless of what others may think of you! Screw them, just be yourself; I know it sounds so cliche' but it's true. You're beautiful.

Amazing song, it's very true. Look inside yourself and find the beauty within you, make-up and things are just there. At the end of the day, what matters is how you feel within. Look in the mirror and accept you for who you really are. Smile because you're beautiful :)

@jennabenna6600 Glee doesn't suck. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, they do not try to make better versions than the original. They are completely different. For example, this song is great! And glee gave to it a brand new feeling, their version is so emotional..

Even though I was bought up with this music, I still hate myself and let a man run my life for a year. I clearly need to go back to when I was 5. I was secure, I didn't care what I looked like and I didn't take any s**t from anyone.

@h1Advanc3d Even though I don't like Glee, it's nice to know that it reminds people of the songs that they may have forgotten. "Fanmail," one of the best albums I ever bought, well, my mom had to buy it for me.

I do love Glee as much as Smya, but the duet with I Feel Pretty/Unpretty was creative and done better than this. I guess I just don't like TLC's style. For such a deephearted song it's too...pop.

Glee is a good show but people should have known this song way before glee because this is a GREAT song and a GREAT group!! R.I.P Left Eye!
