These are my 2 precious tuxedo cats. The kitten was a rescued from under a bush during winter. I estimate his age to be about 4 weeks when I found him.
well burton seems to love hitler's youth, not one person of color which
really made for a flat boring showing. though I liked the upturned
shoulders of the jackets and coats. good ash and black blocking with great
fitted silhouettes. the leisure wear was terrible in concept and color. the
shoes were a miss with to much oxford. then the pops of b/w animal prints
were stale and off the mark for trying to bring in a 1980s b-boy nod. the
styling was very sedate which matched the setting and the hair was very
forward thinking with the swirling flourishes backing away from the nazi
feel and vibe. the music definitely needed some aspect of percussion in the
lines of edm. the flat dimensionless lighting was baffling, just plain
amateurish, like they didn't plan it for the space then ran out of time and
money. finally if u know your show is going to be this intimate with the
immediate audience being captured up-close in almost every scene u should
at least invite SOME people of different ethnicity. ESPECIALLY when all of
your models look like u picked them from the nazi party of the living dead.
and edit out clips where the onlookers are openly not paying attention
while deliberately looking at the camera, but I felt the same way the did
so...
Alexander McQueen was and always will be one of my favorite designers. Sara
Burton is doing an amazing job but the strongest aspect of their vision
relies without a doubt in their dresses, suites and other garments for
WOMEN. Menswear is unwearable and hideous! I always check out their shop in
London and the things they have for men are just unwearable. Flame inspired
blazers, or that black and white blazer that looks straight from the
Octoberfest in Germany!lool.
Beautifully shot, like the location, but I would have liked to hear their
footsteps on those old floors. I'm slowly coming around for Burton. I think
she's doing a better job than anyone else could in perpetuating McQueen's
vision.
im amaized at people below actually saying they loved this............this
was TRUELY and HONESTLY some of the most WEIRDEST shit i have ever seen/
heard............weird...as...HELL lol.
ugh, this is really boring. the setting and the music do not match the
boring clothing. just a lot of unremarkable suits and sloppy leisure wear.
