what?, mac is not for work? yeah right... applications on MacOS are way faster and for efficient, I use, a lot of stuff for school, like maya 3d software, imovie, photoshop, the mail, Final cut pro, etc.., it is too dumb to say mac isn´t for work, listen, I personally own a windows pc, and I use that for a couple AAA games like battlefield and that sorta games, if you are an adult and you work, I would recommend mac :P have a nice day, nice chat.

Mac= Work 60% Gaming 40%Windows= Gaming 70% Work 30%but it just depends on the type of person you are. Gamers will use any, a windows fanboy will use a windows computer.

yeah, what did you expect? Its is a mac bro, I´m a student in college, and I use this to animate and create stuff on photoshop at top speed. Besides the software its just EASY to use, a baby could use a Mac. If we compare your pc, well it is way better at gaming I guess, but the quality you get on that MAY not be as good as the components on a mac, just saying.

why would you need a sandbox to edit videos and 3D models, listen, I have a mac, a very cheap one, I have it for 5 years now, and it works perfectly fine to edit on imovie, export stuff from my phone, edit 3D models on Maya 2013, and rendering super fast, so I don´t see the point of this discussion, mac and windows are different, this is like messi and cristiano ronaldo. Some people like and some people don't.

+Himan Yerrakalva The HD 7470M is actually a rebranding of the HD 6470M chip, so it is a small 40nm chip with 64-bit memory interface. I'd imagine that Iris 5100 is just similar performance to it as it is quite a low-end GPU. Not tested with Radeon stuff much, but I tend to find Iris 5100 can match the GeForce GT 820M which is a similar low-end discrete mobile GPU.

Mann, was ein Quark. "35fps" sind zu wenig . Haben die Displays 40Hz, oder was? Fakt ist, dass das Alienware hier mit den 200fps zu viele unnötige Resourcen verbrät. Ein 60Hz Display kann nur 60 Bilder pro Sekunde darstellen. Mehr wird also nicht gebraucht. Und, wenn das System 60fps nicht schafft, sind 30fps optimal. Kurz: Der Intel Chip ist hier im HD vollständig ausreichend.Wichtiger wäre eine volle Synchronisation der fps zur Bildwiedergabe. Da das nicht der Fall ist, zuckeln auch 200fps

Endlich mal ein gutes Video mit Intel Iris Pro 5200 in Aktion! Zwar stimme ich dem Tester in seinen Schlüssen zu, aber man darf halt nie vergessen, dass Leute nicht nur hohe Grafikeinstellungen und die neuesten Spiele spielen. Für etwas ältere Spiele liefert die 5200 in jedem Fall gute Leistung bei dennoch niedrigem Stromverbrauch - aber eben mehr Leistung als noch die HD 4000 von IvyBridge, die auch bei älteren Spielen ihre Probleme bekam.
