Access zoom out Videos

+Helena H it is not good in low light at all, infact my cell phone is much better. I can make a video comparing it to my 5 year old samsung phone and you can see. the difference.

I was practacing on cars, its more moving with them to capture the photo i am getting use to. Sometimes i get a good photo and other times i do so i know it is me going wrong.

+Eric Zondervan no problem it takes practice, what was your subject you were trying to photograph? cars?, dont try to take multiple pictures at one time , just take one , see how it looks , then take another

For example cars or bicycles , say you wanted to take pictures of cars at a racetrack , like this https://www.flickr.com/photos/blackseries/14665052771 you would want to slow down the shutter speed and pan with the car (move your camera with the car) and take the picture, the slow shutter speed would make the background have a blur effect from you moving your camera along with the car giving a sensation of speed but the car would be perfectly clear because your lens is moving along with the car as if it was stationary, the wheels would also look like they are in motion because of the slow shutter speed. You don't have to go to the racetrack to try this you could just take pictures of cars on the street and get the very same effect it is great way to learn how shutter speed works is take pictures of cars on the road. slow your shutter speed down, when a car comes by focus on the car, pan along with the car and take the shot while the camera is moving. But with birds if they are stationary then you can just try it in all auto mode. With planes I think it is difficult if they are really far away then you might want to increase your shutter speed because of the camera shaking in your hands and the long zoom. try it and let me know.

+catsclouds hiya, i changed the ios to auto and it works perfectly when fully zoomed in now. Thank you so much.On more questions if i wanted to take a photo of a moving plane or birds or cars if something what setting do i need to have the dial in.

+catsclouds sorry missed read what you have put. The iso wasnt in auto, i will give you advice ago and let you know how i get on. Thank you for taking the time too give me some advice

+Eric Zondervan in P setting you can adjust the shutter speed iso and aperture so when you have your hand on the camera your thumb rests on a dial , press that dial in and you will see the shutter speed go orange on the display turn the dial and you can adjust the shutter speed, click it again and it will allow you to adjust the aperture. If you click the ISO buton on the round dial on the back of the camera you can adjust the iso , try and see if it is in auto. reply back

+catsclouds i have it set on the P so i can zoom in 300x. If i have it on the IA setting it works fine. I was trying to take a close up of a picture that was further away

+Michael Rosenthal hi you need to activate the digital zoom, put it in P and then go to menu, then the camera icon in there there is digital zoom on/off
