Travel to the Sands of Menechtarun, a vast desert that stretches across the western reaches of Xen'drik. Explore ancient tombs of powerful wizards who once ...
Your loot drops for you and therefore you have first priority on it.
Whatever your reasons are, if you THINK you MIGHT TR your fighter into a
wizard in 5 years then that Twilight is fair game to take. That being said,
If I do not see any immediate use for an item then It will go for roll.
Occasionally if I want it but know I wont use it for awhile I will put it
up for roll but also roll on it. I feel that is a fair middle ground.

I agree that end game needs motivation, and that raid-sagas are a good
approach, but I disagree that cosmetics are potent motivators. Sure, some
players get really into it, but more players (like myself) wouldn't find it
worth all the trouble for something that isn't a functional upgrade/perk or
otherwise useful reward. In my view, the end-game would still be dead.
Let's say they offered a Sovereign I Exp Elixer. I wouldn't bother with the
sagas for something to meager. Maybe if they offered 25 of them, it would
be worth the effort, but ultimately it would be better to not be a
consumable or cosmetic. Perhaps an inventory or bank upgrade that is bound
to account, so you can choose a character to get an extra tab somewhere.
Perhaps even a semi-generous offering of Astral Shards or Turbine Points
would be good, since that would allow people who care about cosmetics to
get them, and people who want something more tangible can choose that
instead.
Right, not everyone is into cosmetics so like I said in the video it should be one of many things they stick in the reward lists. For sure offer more tangible items as alternatives. Should be something for everyone. I do think cosmetics are underutilized in the game however. They're a good way to give people goals without adding to the power creep. Some of the most successful multiplayer games keep players playing through unlockable cosmetic rewards (call of duty comes to mind).Yes, for sure the rewards would have to be worth it. One thing is for sure, the rewards need to be significantly better than what is currently offered in normal epic quest sagas. Big XP gems and renown gems absolutely need to be in there. And the rewards should be significantly better still by completing the saga on Epic Elite.
