Can relate there. Anywhere in the world it's a pain to go through big
cities. I usualy try to skirt them staying outside of or on the outer edge
of suburban areas. Never been hesitant to make a B-line for the quickest
route out of a city if I get stressed. Even if it involves backtracking a
bit. p.s. sometimes the suburban areas (at least hear in the U.S.) are far
worse. Often no sidewalks or throughways to take anything but a car.
Everything a culdasac connected by freeways. Peace, -Mike

@stfugabe Incorrect. That's 4 minute miles. The world record for the mile
is 3:23. If mine are right, he ran a 2:32 mile. That's about 23 MPH. Trust

+Matthew Corr nowdays, its basically the same thing... that the reason V12 engine swill end soon... Old V12 cars are now using Twin turbo V8 engines and Old V8 cars are now using V6 Twing turbo... BMW Does not use V12 or v10 engines anymore... porsche doesnt use the V10 anymore... Ford is using a Twin turbo V6 for the GT instead of the classic V8... just because they are smalled, lighter, the fuel soncumption is better and the preformance is the same... There are like 5 or 6 car makers that still use V12's... not more than that... Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani (mercedes angine), Mercedes itself, Aston Martin, and not much more... Its a shame, and makes me feel very sad, but V12 and V10 engines will disapear fast... very very fast... Everybody will use those fucking V6/V8 turbo engines or i6 Tri-turbo shit.
+Matthew Corr it depends... a stock V6 TT produces more torque than a V10 N/A...If both are tunned its the same thing, you can make both produce the same...
+Jhon KafirB the GT40 was a racecar... Why are you comparing it with street legal preformance cars? Just dont do it... Do I have to remind you the first mid engine street legal supercar was a Lamborghini? And after that the Countach was the fastest supercar arround the world? And then the Diablo? Guess what? Ford stopped in time with their 550/600HP cars and Lamborghini is going on with powers up to 750hp stock...without superchargers or turbos... #Engineering V6 engines are lighter, its common sense!"Try to push a V8 AMC pacer engine to 2000HP and we can talk about the illusion of V8's!"You can also try to push a V12 Ferrari 250 GTO to 2000HP and see how good V12 engines are...LOL, that was the most pathecit and stupid thing ive read today...What is your point?Dude, why did you make that stupid comparison? The first comment was about the GT-R V6 vs the Lambo V12 and not about a cheap V6 engine from nissan...Obviously a bad V6 engine is not good for racing... I thougt that was obvious... Is that impressive? 2.7L Turbo with 310hp?? Mercedes A45 amg 2.0L Turbo with 380HPHonda Civic Type R 2.0L Turbo with 300hpAudi TTRS 2.5L turbo with 350hpVolvo XC90 2.0L T/S with 316HP
1966 v8 GT40 with over 550hp. Ferrucio was still eating his own boogers back then.V6 lighter? try to push a nissa altima over 2000hp and we can talk about the ilusion of V6s.#Engineering BTw...2015 4 cylinder Mustang makes 310hp
+Jhon KafirB cylinder number means nothing... Japan can build 4 Cyl 2 liter with 300hp and America built a V8 5 liter with 200hp...Formula 1 cars have V6 and the BMW 850i has a V12... The only difference between a V6, a V8 a V10 and a V12 is the weight... V6 are a lot lighter...
Imagine if nissan made a 5.0L V8 based on the gtr's v6... It would have no
competition, even from american big blocks or german v10s, italian v12s,
etc...
+SalveMonesvol //link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs12239-008-0037-2 here read this article, it'll show you the science behind the whole weight distribution thing, and how it provides better cornering, and speed.
+SalveMonesvol the production car will never weigh the same as a awd v10 lambo, aka the gallardo. The gallardo was 2800 pounds and this is due to the fact that it use a special type of plastic that is very light, and aluminum on its body. Compared to the gt-r that uses steel, and aluminum. Keep in mind that the gt-r weighs almost 4,000 pounds with a v6. The creator of the gt-r will never swap these materials because he stated he wants to keep the equal weight distribution on both sets of wheels. He keeps the twin turbo weight in the back, to balance out with the v6 in the front. This is somewhat a factor of its success, the even distribution of the weight allows this car to keep very good traction, allowing it to throw a huge amount of power to the wheels. Where as if you take a hellcat for instance, it has 700+ horsepower but it only puts 482 hp to the wheels. Gt-rs genius design allows it to put every single bit of horsepower its capable of to its wheels.
Don't think it would affect much, in fact it might even slow the car. The car with the v6 already weighs close to 3900 pound which is very heavy. The American cars that use the 5.0-5.8 liter v8s use rear wheel drive to make up for the heavy weight of that massive v8. If you threw a v8 on a all wheel drive car that already weighs 4000 pound with a v6, that car is going to be a very big behemoth. So i can't tell you if it would actually slow down since i'm not an engineer for nissan that could maybe draw a blueprint to make it work, but it seems impractical to me due to how heavy the car already is.
