This is exactly the thing i was looking for to get me started painting i got a pre packed bunch of acrylic pants and the main colors are black red and yellow so this is something i could replicate but also add my own touch, so thanks for making this video.

Do you have to use gesso on a regular wooden canvas?

+Calvin Seo It just depends on so many things. Gesso will make it smoother and make it easier for the paints to stand out in colour

Hi! I'm a beginner painter. I've only done two acrylic paintings. Do you always have to prime the canvas? If so, is it always with the glaze medium and with any color? Or it has to be a specific color? I saw another tutorial from another painter using the color black.

+Vero MDNA T Thanks Vero, the palette is called a 'tear-off palette' and has disposable sheets of paper, for larger paintings I would also use a stay-wet palette.Cheers,Will

Are cadmium yellow medium and cadmium yellow both the same? I see that on some paintings you say medium and others you don't. I'm new to this and trying to get all my paints written down to try it this weekend.

+Karina Gomez So I always paint with Cadmium Yellow medium. The color also comes in a dark and a light which are lovely to have in a paint kit but i try to have a small set pallet to help with peoples budgets. I learned that from two vides where I added souther ocean blue and Australian sienna.
