lmfao....Sorry man gotta ask....what's up with your hands? I was waiting
for you to karate chop something the whole video lol... but seriously I'm
looking for a vacuum cleaner that can survive my wife's long thick hair.
her hair has destroyed a handful of vacuums in no time flat.
+Vance Bergersen Friend of mine would always comb out her long thick hair outside to get rid of the lose hair then finish it off inside. What's a couple of minutes, to do that?
+Vance Bergersen hi, I just wanted to put in my two cents, the tangle-free turbine that this website has told you about is just for furniture. if you want a vacuum cleaner that will do good with hair on carpets and floors you will need a vacuum with a metal brush roller. vacuum cleaners that will fit this need go by names such as sanitaire brand vacuums and simplicity or Riccar brand vacuums.
I just ordered the dyson dc41. I paid around 390. So I hope this will work for us. But let me know your opinion. If I have to return it I will. Thanks for the response.
+Vance Bergersen Hi Vance, what's your price range? The Dyson tangle free turbine is a good choice if you don't mind investing a couple hundred. Also (don't tell your wife this) most vacuums geared towards removing animal/pet hair are probably a solid option as well.

BEST VACUUM CLEANER ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
This video explains how vacuums work, and why some vacuums perform better than others. We carry all brands discussed in this video, and we are not trying to ...
And they do sell for around $2000 - $3000 becuse it's the last vac. your ever gonna buy in your life. 15 year warranty too! My grandmother has one from the late 60's and still going strong!
That must be a cheap knock off. Never heard of a Majestic 360. The real one is just called the Majestic. And the real ones you can't just buy online or any where for thet matter unless it's a real one that someone is selling that is used but that is almost unheard of becuse anyone that has one will keep it becuse it's the best vac. made hands down! The only real way to get a liget one is to have someone come to your home and do a demo.
+Lorn Blaze I never herd of that type of vacuum before.....so I looked for it, and I can't really find anybody who sells it....but on another video somebody said its 2000-3000.- us dollar,....wow that's crazy!.....then I did find it on amazon, but it has very bad reviews... //www.amazon.com/Filter-Queen-Majestic-Vacuum-Cleaner/dp/B000P26HYG/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
I guarantee that people won't buy that Royal over the Dyson because of the
way it looks. It doesn't look 'sleek and futuristic" it looks "old and
heavy." Unfortunately, that's what our society has become. We care far more
about how things look or sound over how they actually work. People today
are just stupid. That Dyson could never stand up to any type of commercial
use that most of those Royal, Kirby, Sanitaires, etc. can. Even though the
store sells Dyson, there's no way they could deny that.
+Russell Low Yes they call is Tandem Air, it is a pretty cool idea. I just use a little stick vac for my hard floors since I have mostly carpeting and stick to the old direct air vacs. I still think they're the best.
+mhtube01 that's cool I look up radiance right now and they are cool. I believe that they call that kind of a system tandem air. I might go down to my vacuum shop and check one out.
Yeah I hear good things about Riccar too. The Radiance is a nice vacuum and has a direct air motor and a bypass motor in one vacuum which is cool so it works well on carpets and has tools. It's an expensive vacuum but looks like it's good quality. People even say the Supralites are great for how light they are and have more power than Orecks do and much better agitation.
+mhtube01 yup I have all three brand Kirby, sanitaire, and Royal vacuums and the are amazing. My aunt owns one of those shark lift away vacuum but had to take it to the repair shop once and I let her use my sanitaire and she loved it and now she might buy one. Riccar make direct air systems too and I heard that they are really good vacuums but I don't own one so I don't really know.
+Russell Low Yeah I don't like the look of new vacuums either, they all look cheap and overly complicated. You're right, those are the only companies who still make the tried and true direct air design. Some other companies make direct air vacs but the motors are smaller and they just don't work as well. Vacuums shouldn't be complicated machines, the old design is simple but works extremely well.
I agree with you. People do care about how their vacuums look. I don't really like how the new vacuums look.I like how the older vacuums look and how Kirby, sanitaire, and royal are the only one that still make the older design of vacuums.
I'll still stick with my Oreck though.... love them! My mom, sisters, and I have them.Had a Kirby, but way too heavy... sure they're great, but not for me.
+stvynix Royal makes Dirt Devil, it's like their cheaper brand. They're not bad for what they are, the old Dirt Devil hand vacs with the bag were great little vacuums! They had good agitation, had direct air motors, and were perfect for tighter areas and furniture. Royal makes some of the best vacuums out there. The metal Royal uprights which are shown here are the best machines they make.
Kirbys are beasts! Never used one but I've seen what they're capable of. I'm glad to see Royal still making these old design vacs, this will definitely be a good choice for you. I'd also recommend looking at older used vacs too if you want something cheaper. Any old Hoover, Eureka, or Sanitaire would be great as well. Sanitaire is now made by Electrolux so unfortunately they are cheaper quality compared to when Eureka made them. I myself have a Eureka ESP from the 90s and a Hoover Convertible from the 80s and both work like new and will outperform any Dyson, Shark, Bissel, etc. If you want a new vacuum though, the metal Royal might be your best bet.
+mhtube01 I thought there might have been a connection, however I have never even seen a Royal but I have heard of them. Also:I've bought two Dyson's but they were not as good as Kirby.I snapped the handle right off of one, they sent me another no charge andthey don't have a height adjustment which means on my low pile (restaurant style) carpet it sucks to the surface and is hard to push.I had to empty the container outside because dust goes everywhere no matter how hard you try.I have three German Shepherds and need a good vac. that is rugged and it looks like Royal would fill the bill...
+Bass Player They look similar because I believe the founder of Kirby worked for Royal before he founded his own company. They have their differences though. Both are quality products that will last for years!
How to choose a Miele Vacuum Cleaner
Keith Petersen, owner of the Eardly T. Petersen Company in Westfield, New Jersey, explains how to select the right Miele vacuum cleaner for your needs.
Excellent presentation! Now, my thought process is down to the Miele and
the Rainbow E2 series (maybe the 2 speed). I know... apple and orange.
Thank you for the good points, especially the decibel level. I was under
the impression that all vacuums were of the same... loud!
+Dylan Taylor There is a substantial advantage to keeping air and particulate dry in a vacuum with the proper filtration. The introduction of moisture changes filtration abilities and also impacts the internal components of the machine. From the perspective of the user, a Miele is a very refined machine - smooth, quiet and very easy to use. A canister that "stands-up" simply doesn't have the same stability in use. There are other issues; but, these represent a few immediate differences.

This is what I have on in the background now when I'm working, and it
really calms me and helps me focus. I have always loved the sound of a
vacuum cleaner, especially when it's in another room (and not real loud).
If I'm tired, it can help put me to sleep, and if I need to work on
something, it relaxes me and puts me in a zone that I feel very comfortable
in. For those who come here and want to try it, I hope it will be calming
and relaxing for them, too. Thank you very much for putting this online.
