ZuzkaLight.com - Fat Loss - Calories & Portion Sizes
Get into the best shape of your life! //www.zuzkalight.com.
So according to you, people should eat one serving OR either fruits and
veggies with each meal. Let's say an average person consumes 4 meals a day.
That's only 4 servings of fruit and veggies a day.Even the FDA recommends
5-9 servings (which IMO isn't enough). Also, why wouldn't you mention to
eat as many leafy veggies and veggies in general? They are so low in
calories as long as you don't smother them in fat. Compared to the
calories, you get more nutritional value in veggies than any other food.
Just bcse the side of a box says 2000 cal doesn't mean that it's average.
Remember the nutritional info isn't assuming that you're trying to lose
weight. Losing weight is based upon burning the fat you have while still
powering your body to continue to work. That means you have to give your
body less calories than it will burn that day so that it has to look to fat
storage for energy. So if you burn 2000 a day then you eat 1500 that day
and let your body take the other 500 cal from fat storage.
I agree with eating high fat dairy and staying away from fat free and low
fat dairy products. There is, quite simply, no reason to not consume
dietary fat. None. Fat free and low fat dieting is one of the most stupid
things that I have ever seen during my lifetime. Although I am not
suggesting that weight loss is a good measure of health or fitness, it
isn't, when I was 16-17 years old I lost 150 lbs in 1 year while on a high
fat diet. At age 23-24 I did the same except it was 90 lbs in 1 year.
Ignore these negative comments. That is a valid question and one worth
asking. Actually, it's a bit high BUT you have to kind of adjust your
calories to fit your body. That is a rough estimate. A friend of mine who
lost 70 lbs told me a trick she used to est her calories and it's worked
for me and it was simple. She said to take the weight you want to be and
add a 0 to it and that's the calories you should shoot for. Want to be 130
lbs? Shoot for 1300 calories a day. Try it for a week and see!
The best way to lose weight and adjust your eating habits is to do it
gradually, so you don't regain. If you happen to be overweight, and that is
how you came to that number, eating that amount will likely be less food
than you are used to consuming unless you have a thyroid disorder. If you
have thyroid issues, you need to consult with your physician about your
calorie needs, as this advice is likely tailored for most people who don't
have thyroid issues, but need to change their habits
Lady. There is no way to calculate calorie needs. All you can do is try
something and adjust based on individual progress. Some people get fat way
more easily than others. Total bodyweight makes no distinction between
muscle, bodyfat, water and other things. I know people who are larger than
I am and have smaller hands and feet. I wear size 14/15 shoes. Some foods
have more calories per cubic centimeter than others. Also the type of food
matters a lot when choosing the amount.
You need carbs for energy... So if you workout try to eat some carbs 2-3
hours before so you can digest them. You will have more energy for your
workout and you will burn them all. You can also eat some of your carbs in
the morning. Usually you should go something like 40% Protein 35% carbs 25
% fats of your total caloric intake. And don't take carbs at night , you
dont need that kind of energy when you sleep, so your body can burn fat
during the night.
You have a such a gorgeous natural glow! What I would looooove to see, is a
journal of how you eat over a couple of days. Although I eat clean, I am
more like 22% body fat and my goal is to go down to 19%. Trainers have told
me I eat too little, but I am afraid of amping up the calories and gaining
fat. So, looking at your journal perhaps I can see if I am eating too
little or too much! Thanks for your inspirational videos and blogs!
It is a lot. To lose 1 lb you'd have to actually be eating 500 calories
less than what your body would normally burn in a day for 7 days. What you
burn depends on how much you weigh now, and believe it or not, how tall you
are and how much exercise you do in a day. For you to lose weight at 4020
cal a day you wld have to be a 6'9" man who weighs 300 lbs and exercising
all day. Otherwise it's not muscle you're adding but fat.
great advice but animals aint food if you wana lose a lota weight faster
you shud all eat only veggies coz its cruel to kil adn eat dead animals and
steal their lives way from em. its unnatural as animals aint food for
humans. humans ar herbivore and dont no it. its horribl to steal their
lives away from em. dead animals make put on weight. if one wana loze
weight faster and more they must eat vegan diet. go vegan!
No complex carbs. Fruit has carbs but obviously not complex or engineered.
For abs like that you can't eat a high carb diet or rather you need to stay
away from anything other than fruit :( As a woman, the only time I had a 6
pack in my life was when I was eating pretty much how she's describing in
the video except I was weighing everything...EVERYTHING :/ I'm going to try
what she's suggesting now though.
Well, if you're taking the advice to get 30% of your calories from healthy
fats, (as per the video) protein needs to be at around 30-40% so carbs
would then be 30-40%. So I would guess she's not cutting them altogether
otherwise she'd be on 70% protein which would be nuts. :) If one were to
cut carbs then you'd actually increase the fats and lower the protein. But
that's another discussion completely!
If you were trying to lose 2 pounds a week and your calorie count should be
1800 would you add in calories for your exercise calories burned to get to
that number at the end of the day? For example..I burned 600 calories
teaching today so can I eat 2400 and still lose? This always confuses me
because I definitely eat more than I burn but I like to be healthy and not
hungry. ;0
everyone has a twin in this world and you looks JUST like a friend of me n
my wifey excepts she puerto rican but just died her hair blonde. i know
you're from the UK area but your accent kind of resembles a spanish accent.
but anyhoo, thanks for the tips! us men sometimes like to load our plates
up especially at bbqs. but i'll have to make the bbqs my cheat day =)
hi Z, that is in fact the correct formula-I got it off a famous trainer's
website-but I have a question, my weight fluctuates 1-2 lbs depending on my
carb intake (usually it's less in the morning but not necessarily, if I've
carbed up of course I'm retaining water ) so do I take the average or the
minimum when multiplying by 12?
Thanks so much. Could you please put together a video of a full day of
eating? Including pre workout and post workout snacks plus all meals and
snacks? Also, do you do any additional days of weight training, or do you
only do your workouts as in your videos? Just ordered your videos. Can't
wait to get started.
Check "denispies" she cooked turkey breast . I do the same but with turkey
body( no legs and wings, can by in price chopper or hunnaford. Sure you can
buy everywhere!) . It is awesom: tender, juicy, soft, ect. Plus- it is the
leanest protein!!!!!!! I just add garlic and coconut oil! Be happy and
healthy!!!!
Once you change your habits, eating leafy greens will be cake. I've come to
value greens for their taste, which has given me the nickname of rabbit.
Obviously salads are an easy way to go. Make a stir fry and throw it on top
of greens... It's easy to eat right. Think outside of the processed box.
No, that's not. I consume around 4020 calories per day because of my size.
Every has different caloric intakes to follow. Don't let the number
discourage you. Just ensure you are weighing yourself in little to no
clothes on an empty stomach to get an accurate weight.
Eat as many or as few meals a day as you like. It makes no difference.
Total number of calories count. Personally I try for 3 meals as it makes my
life easier. Unless you're intermittent fasting then of course you need to
fit your meals into a specific time window.
Zuzana, great channel. I have a question. Over on the Bodyrock.TV channel
it says your are still the host. Are you still affiliated with them? Just
wondering. Also I see your channel has 130k member and they only have 17k
so apparently you were the driving force.
I also heard that if you take your weight divide it by 2 you will get your
recommended daily water intake. So, if you weigh 120 lbs you should be
drinking at least 60 ounces of water daily. If you weigh 200 lbs. you
should be drinking 100 ounces of water daily.
Two example you can google: Patrik Baboumian is a vegan and the strongest
man in Germany Attila Hildmann is a vegan and changed his body from
overweight to muscular with sixpack. Sure they eat more than
veggies/fruits, hower only non animal sources of protein ;)
Why on earth would you restrict vegetables? eat as much as you can.. Stop
the dairy and meat and go for fruits instead. You will have so much more
energy. How about calories from fat versus carbs and the amount of energy
used to get them. It's a lifestyle.
