+LethalIconI fucking hate Teen Spirit because Kurt hated that song. That song is purely disgusting and is an embarrassment. I don't even have that song on my iPhone (which is the BEST phone ever!) because that's how much I hate Teen Spirit. If you are a true Nirvana fan then you would not listen to that shitty ass song. I do not like anything that Kurt did not like. I love anything that Kurt loved. That's why I am a feminist because Kurt was a feminist. That's also why I love The Beatles and Pixies because Kurt loved those bands. I'm cool.
+Connor BYeah IKR?! That riff in Teen Spirit is sooooooo heavy, much heavier than "Ruptured in Purulence" by Carcass, right?! Oops, I forgot I'm not supposed to mention Teen Spirit to a hardcore Nirvana fan since Nirvana fans pretend to hate on that song just because Kurt didn't like playing the song. Hey, out of curiosity, do you listen to Beatles or Pixies? Kurt did, I'm sure you'll love that band. What about The Stooges or Sex Pistols? Do you like those bands as well? Kurt did.
+SummerWave Hipsters are stupid consumists of middle class , i'm just a punk ,and i like every genre of music but my preference is underground music , ex: underground industrial metal, punk rock, indie rock, folk, blues, hip hop, trip hop, jazz, drum n bass, acid techno,nu metal, groove metal, death metal, thrash metal, atonal music, neofolk, and etc. I Like Nirvana's first album "Bleach" and the last one "In Utero" , but Nevermind is a great bullshit in my view.
Discovering new music... and comparing to Nirvana's cover on the Reading
festival, this is very neat, but the point goes to Kurt, the guitar sounds
dark and his fucked up voice match great with the song.
+CuliaoPro Not to bang on about Nirvana in any way, Nirvana was the first band I ever cherished and they introduced me to many amazing bands. Both incredible bands! 8-)
+CuliaoPro At least you can understand what Sam is saying in this version. Nirvana's cover is great, but nothing beats the bored and lazy hardcore punk crunch that is Fang's original.
The best version of this song I ever heard was by a little known group
called The Bridge Gang. They mixed up the lyrics and put the bit about
"I'd have given you some if you'd only been nice" at the end which I
thought was rather funny and they shouted the words more than sang them.
It was really good, sadly it was the best song of their set and the only
one they didn't write...
+The Fakey Cake Maker Found a video of them, they definitely aren't as bad as you made them out to be in that last sentence, really awesome band actually
Kurt Cobain & Mudhoney - The Money Will Roll Right In [Live 1992] [HD 720p]
Kurt Cobain & Mudhoney - Castaic Lake Amphitheatre, Castaic, California 09/26-1992.
One the best rock shows I ever attended.
Not only were Sonic Youth and Mudhoney epic, and Kurt showed up too, but it
was our (group of friends) first exposure to Pavement.
Needless to explain we were blown away by them also.
We raced to the merch table to grab Pavement shirts right away.
Looking back, to my taste, this was like a triple bill of Zep, Stones and
The Kinks.
Legendary!
+Andre Krumins I remember him coming out in disguise, either a wig and/or glasses and doing Where did you sleep last night and lake of fire, but don't hold me to that. I was feeling super and it was 23 years ago.
+mumu A lot of his earlier guitars were like that, Him and Christ used to shop in second hand stores when they never had money, a lot of the time it was a right handed that he had to restring.
Seattle's best. Nirvana would be a distant ?. Thank you Bumbershoot bands
of yesteryear. The Fastbacks,The Melvins,Mother Love Bone,Monkey
Wrench,Green River,Temple Of The Dog and to many more to mention. Mudhoney
is Seattle Grunge. But I love them all. Ask the outside world, the would
say Nirvana or Pearl Jam or Alice In Chains. Ask us Seattlites.....MUDHONEY.
+Lukas West i prefer the drugged up version here. Have you seen kurt playing this with Mud honey? - its a bit pointless to say mudhoney did it better.... both a great.
FANG - The Money Will Roll Right In
FANG - The Money Will Roll Right In live in São Paulo 21APR2013.
Nirvana - The Money Will Roll Right In (Guitar Cover) Reading 92
The funny, slow-paced, apolitical Fang weren't like the other Bay Area punks in 1982; and Nirvana weren't like the other major label rock bands on the festival ...
+Nancy Granai Well if u read the description I say that. Also I did a cover of Nirvana's version, not Fang's version, so it would be wrong to post it as a Fang cover...
