Funny because the M.A.C girl was right. I work at M.A.C so I know. An NW (pink undertone) would cover any blue or purple under the eye & wouldn't look ashy. An NC would make your under eye look ashy. Of course with foundations, an NC is the best since it's yellow undertone but for concealer under the eye, the best would have been NW. Any makeup artist should have known that, so I don't get why you're bashing her for her knowledge and thought it was so funny to give you a pink undertone concealer. I mean yes she had attitude. But she did choose the right undertone.

+Natasha Za Actually to counteract dark circles for warmer skin tones, peach/orange undertones should be used. This is practically common sense. Also even if the mac worker was able to choose the right concealer, that doesn't excuse her attitude. Once again you don't have to be a genius to know that.

Any good make up artist know that pink/peach/orange tones counteract blue and purple undertones in the skin especially in darker skins its shows it if you have a look at a colour wheel putting yellow tones on a darker under eye especially a dark skin will go ashy and therefore turn grey!!

+monique spataro To counteract dark circles on 'darker skin' as you say which I think you are referring to olive/golden-yellow/tanned skin tones , the colour correctors used should be more peach/orange toned not pink toned due to the warmth of the skin. Pink toned correctors are for more fair people who's undertone are not as warm but cooler just like the mac worker who was serving Raji ( who she described as fair). Any good makeup artist knows this.
