In my opinion, the $179.99 price tag for the HTC Desire® 601 is a great deal.... :)

@TheMrturn1 - awesome bro. :) I hope you'll enjoy Android 4.4 KitKat, and yes, I'm hoping to get the Desire 601 in the near future, because my current phone (Galaxy Reverb) is crapping out like hell. And I need an upgrade, I like HTC phones, I'll finally be able get a HTC phone. I hate my Reverb now. I hope I'll have a good experience with the HTC Desire® 601 (if I get it). I'm so excited that Virgin got another HTC smartphone. The Desire 601 beats all the previous HTC phones that Virgin has offered previously (HTC EVO™ V 4G, HTC One™ V & the HTC Wildfire S)...... in my opinion, the HTC Desire® 601 is a great addition to Virgin Mobile lineup. :)
