I have no regrets with the 24" muffler. It gives the hemi a nice rumble and a bit of a growl up around 4k. The MDS is a little more noticeable but only at low speeds. On the highway it sounds about the same as stock. I actually like the sound of it in MDS mode cause it gets real deep and throaty. This muffler is great for letting people know youv got a hemi under your hood. Don't worry about it. They're just pissed off because they've had their work hours changed at the plant! ;) Great video! I have a 2014 Sport CC 4x4 on order and bought the DOD14 on accident. I meant to chose the 18 and messed up. Well thankfully I know someone local to me that just bought an Express so I'm selling him the 14 and after hearing this, I think I'm going to go with the dod24M. Personally I like the Mufflex since they use stainless pipes to connect and not aluminized steel.

Question: is this the catback kit or did you just install the muffler? I'm thinking about installing a catback w/ dual split which comes with the 24" muffler on my 08 1500, and I'm wondering if it will sound similar to this...sounds awesome btw. I too don't want it real loud, just love the low rumble of magnaflow.

so how do you like the muffler? i got an 09 and i wanna do the swap too but i dont wanna make it too loud just enough so when i wanna race some one they know im flooring it lol besides the mds and other sounds or drones or rattling? have you noticed any performance difference from stock?

I assure you the first exhaust is stock I bought the truck new in 2010. I did sound a little different due to it being a cold start on a cold winter day so I could see how you could think that. I have no reason to lie on here. and I’m sorry you think I did.

How do you think the 22" would sound? I think the 18 may be a bit too loud like you posted in your comment, I dont want to hear it all the time, but I want to hear it a little bit more than this. Let me know what you think..

Thanks for the video I think you just helped me decide on the 24. I want it sound good when I lay into her but not while driving normally. My wife would kill me if it was too loud and this looks like the perfect solution.
