I taste as I go. Maybe start out with half a teaspoon and move up as
needed. I like a lot of cayenne and 2 teaspoons of dry mustard.

I'm trying to build my own recipe, and I took a few really good pointers
from yours! One is chopping a bell pepper with the onion when you cook
the beef. I'm gonna try that and I'm sure it is awesome! I use 1.5 onions
b/c I love onions. I tried 2 once and it was just too much. I know this
isn't very authentic, but I want to try to add some Tumeric because of how
healthy it is lol. I hope that doesn't mess up the taste. You do have the
best/most authentic Texas Chili recipe I've seen on here. Awesome stuff
