+Brennan Wilson Hey there! That is a Guild Thunderbird S-200! Muddy Waters, Dan Auerbach, and now Dallas Green are some well known people that prefer this beauty. Hope that helps!
+Paula sadasd My mistake.. He's got his Jazzmaster so often, I did little more than take a quick glance at the colour before I assumed it was that one. Woops.
+Brant Green No worries man, I don't think he was complaining so much as he was pointing it out. I think most people are so use to Dallas being perfect all the time that when they hear something that sounds slightly off they have a knee jerk reaction. I've been a fan of his for years and seen him several times live. Although I know he really likes his new band, I felt that his band with Daniel Romano and that line up were much tighter as far as timing and staying in a groove throughout their sets. Still love his music either way.
+Michael Hines Sorry that the o and the i are right next to each other on my phones keyboard. As for acting like a tool, maybe I was. Not trying. Just really thought the song was great and don't understand the complaints about the tempo.
+Brant Green Well if you can't spell don't comment... See how that works? No need to be an tool about it. Will you please tell us what is it you "know" about music that the rest of us aren't quite understanding. I think we all know that Dallas ups the tempo and changes songs in his live performances because he likes variety. Personally I felt the timing on the drums was slightly off during fragile bird, or as some would say he wasn't in the "pocket". Did you honestly feel like throughout that entire song it was seamless and in perfect rhythm? I didn't but hey what I do I know, I'm just a guy that plays guitar, has ears, and listens to music on YouTube...
+Grant Newsted It absolutely does. I noticed this in another set they did in Rio, most of the songs the tempo was off, I want to think it is/was because of transitions and dead spaces where the tempo gets "lost" so to speak... Good news is he made me examine my tempo closer. Still good songs and a great musician in Dallas Green!
Send Her My Love- Journey Madison Square Garden 2016
April 13, 2016 from 7 PM to 11 PM. Santana and Journey. I really hate it when I get into that "I need to record this entire thing" zone, because watching/recording ...
+V Vendetta Really? I only thought he came after the show since I did see pictures of him hanging out backstage on facebook. And no he did not come onstage.
Smitty is BACK! Songs never sounded better...loved Deen, but this is
Journey! Smith's sensitivity especially on the ride cymbal makes these
songs groove with passion. Deen was more a rock drummer, Smith has that
magic touch, listen to how he plays behind the groove when Neil
solos...Arnel doesn't sound too good however.
+Jeff Porcaro Groove I heard a slight "wheeze?" at 1:32. I'm not sure if you can call that out of breath.Edit: I didn't even notice when I was watching, since 1: the surround sound kind of distracted me, and 2: I was busy living the moment
