This song I feel was sent to me. I was married to the most remarkable man
for 27 years and then he passed. I never found someone to take his place
that was 17 years ago. Now I am dealing with breast cancer and preparing
for surgery in January. This song .... these are the words he would be
saying to me..... if he were here. I just love this song, it fills me with
hope that my surgery will be successful and I will have more time here on
earth with 2 great grand children on the way in 2016, I now have 8
grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, he lived long enough to be here when
the first 2 grand daughters were born. This song makes me feel like he is
telling me that I will survive this and that I should hold on forever to my
memories of him, but to keep going strong for our family.
+Marjean Harvey Music is just one way we get messages we are supposed to hear! Keep listening! Chin up, keep the faith and all is going to be great in the end!
That's deep. I'm sorry for your difficulties. I wish you the very best. God bless you with happiness and a long life. We need a lot more love in the world. Just hold on... x
+smile30981 he wrote this song especially for his wife who is fighting against a cancer.try to hear the lyrics again, it's saying how he'll always be there for her and support her no matter what.anyway it's admirable how an awful popular guy like him can fight all the glamorous temptation and keep faithful for his sick wife :)

How easy is it to clean? Also, for this one, wouldn't it need some sort

How does he go from Matchbox 20 to this? But hey!! kickass song so keep it
up man!! Im mostly a country, rock, classic rock kinda guy but if you drink
8 beers and cant jam to this your brain dead haha
I've read many of the comments and it kind of makes me happy I have only
been a fan for 5 years.
I got to know all of matchbox twenty and Rob Thomas' music at the same
time. I went out and bought everything they had all at once. When I hear
one of their songs I don't think of one as being older than the next. They
were all impressed on my mind at the same time so I don't think in terms of
the old music vs the new music as many fans do.
I can hear songs from the "newer" lps and, to me, they are far superior to
some of the older songs because I don't have a nostalgic bias.
People love the old songs like "Damn" "Kody" even "Hang" but some of their
newer songs are far superior, imo. Songs like "Can't Let You Go",
"Overjoyed", "Pieces" and "I Think We'd Feel Good Together" are better
written, produced and performed than the older ones. People hold on to
emotions and expect to feel like they did twenty years ago when they hear a
new song. They don't listen to new music with an open mind, too bad for
them because they're missing out on some of Rob's and mb20's best music.
It reminds me of Ricky Nelson's song "Garden Party".
~You can't please everyone so you got to please yourself~
I hope Rob makes his music to fulfill his artistic needs and not to please
fans who can be fickle and unwilling to let an artist change and grow.
Like most of his fans, new and old, I love this song and I love the new CD.
+BLFulle I love that line, from Garden Party and amen. Rt said this album was going to be different from the get go. Something he's never did, with MB20 or solo. And he'll never do another like it. He and Carlos Santana are no.2 on the All Time Hottest Hits with Smooth. The interview/ or story in Billboard/Rolling stone(had 2 in RS) He is #1 adult singer/songerwriter tied with P!NK of all time. I want to see Pink so bad in concert but she plays the big venues like Madison Square Garden, and lostest tickets are 300-500 dollars and those aren't the best seats. and sells out every show. Saw MB20 in 13, in a smaller venue outside, amipitheater seats 20000, with a big chunk of those on the lawn. Those tix 20.00 each. Rob's solo show's he keeps them really small, our venue seated 6500. It was an outdoor ampitheater. But he played the Beacon in NYC, Rixton in Nashville, X amt of shows are outside and X amt inside. half of the show got reschuled because his wife had a big medical scare, which still has to be taken care of, us the fans so far have raised 11,000 for sidewalk angels, Mari's charity to help spca's humane societys' etc that don't have money, so animals aren't killed, and get your pet spayed or neurtered. Rob and Mari are so nice to fans, like he gave his symapthies when my mom died. He trieds to talk to who he can at the shows and get that picture. With Mari sick not as much this time, Maybe next yr on MB20's 20th anniversary!
+Marika Toth Just read the comment about One Republic - yes, this also reminds me of them. I love One Republic as well. lol Didn't see the other U2 comment before I put mine here.
Did you listen to the live version of I Think We'd Feel Good Together? Wayyyy better than this or the released version. I think he's trying to stay popular but thankfully, all the old stuff is still available :)
Haha. So he makes 1 song that has auto tune and people suddenly say he's
changed. Yet. The rest of his album is nothing like it. Haha. People aren't
so smart.
He's one of the only artist/band that still play the same type of music
they did back since 96.
