A turbo 6 will smoke a stock 1L. The 6's put out over 100 horsepower some
are up to 120. I've seen a 700 horsepower Busa thats four times stock. I
see no reason why a 600 couldn't easily make 150 horsepower from 100 that's
only a 50% increase, not 300%. At 15 psi it should theoretically put out as
much as a 1200cc, so almost as much as a stock Busa. Although it would be
more since busa's aren't tuned that great stock, and a turbo 6 would have
to be tuned perfect to not blow up at 15psi.
What's the compression on an average 600? I'm not really much of a sport
bike person I'm guessing it's like 10:1? I would guess that an all stock
600 with a turbo, and water injection(or intercooler, water injection is
easier)could withstand at least 10 psi. If you had some custom pistons made
with around 8:1 compression for a 6, 15-20 psi would probably be realistic.
I have no way to make an accurate estimate, pretty sure it would be enough
to beat a stock 1000 though.
aaahhhhh, how true.....i happen to be a big fan of nikes, have been riding
street for 20 years. i like kaw personally but honda is more reliable for
sure. i have raced many of those little import shitboxes with my
bike...what fun. by the way i was simply stating my personal opinion that a
f-3 is a waste of time and money to turbo...but...whatever floats the boat
i guess...get to riding and spanking the little mosquitos as we call those
little import cars.
Dude I don't know about a turbo 6 smoking a stock 1000. True a 600 could
make 150 hp, but they'd have to change a lot of internal parts to support
that psi. With all the money spent upgrading your 600 to beable to
withstand it, you could've bought a 1000cc. It would be awesome though to
have a 600 that could beat a 1000 cc .
turbo lag is the time it takes for the turbo to spool up and build
pressure. so say the turbo gets spooled at 7k rpm, if you go WOT at 4k, you
wont get any effect from the turbo till 7k. its not poor workmanship, just
depends on the turbo, the smaller the turbo, the less lag because it takes
less to spool it up.
Like they say that a car or bike is a sleeper. It kind of means that it
looks gentle, like when one is sleeping, but then when it wakes up it's a
beast. So this 600cc turbo would be an awesome sleeper. Most people would
think it's just a 600, but it would shock the piss out of them.
its not just bhp ither tho. thers the torque delivery to think about aswell
that ud get from a turbo 6. and the main one, weight, Im guessing a turbo 6
engine is lighter than a 1000cc engine. ofcourse it would beat a 1000.
Might as well buy a 1000cc bike. The turbo kit is probably 3000 bucks and
it won't put you up to 150 hp. It would still be nice to have one on a 6
though. It would be a sleeper bike.
OK Genius, What would the Power and Torque figures be if you had a RB57DETT
(AS in a 5.7 Litre GTR Motor). I think that you could kiss good bye your
archaic Pushrod V8 Dinosaur shit
That's not lag, he's just rolling through the gears to get to the right one
for the run. Homemade dyno? Noooo, it's an in-floor dyno. Damn, you need
some schooling or something!
Not as funny as all those idiots who bolt them up on "crap ass" 4 banger
import coupes. Their civics wouldn't stand a chance against a bone stock F3
in the quarter.
wow asshole, took you 10 months to figure out what to say. your a smart
motherfucker aren't you. go back to mommy's basement and knit her some more
sweaters son.
My whole goal for the caliber was to keep up with 600cc sportbikes. I have
done so, for those haters out there have a look at my other vids of the
caliber vs. bikes. They are in my other posts. There are a few in my
favorites folder as well.
Sorry man, but they are not fast lol! Sure they have the HP and TQ, but
most of them weigh 600-1000lbs. Again that is not fast, maybe for the first
100 feet from a light, but most definitely not 1/4 mile! You are talking
about a 2000cc motor only making 124hp and 124tq! That's quite sad if you
ask me. They have no powerband to them at all. They are not meant for
speed, straight line or cornering. The ZX14 makes 195whp stock, The
Hayabusa 180+whp, the BMW S1000RR is 184whp.
S1000 struggles to make 70? My 750 made 56wtq! Depending on the dyno, most
will make 80wtq STOCK! With a aftermarket exhaust and tune they are even
higher! Most Kawi 1400's and Busa's will run low 10's with an average
rider. Guys with experience will easily see 9.50's, and a pro has ran the
Kawi zx14r 9.08 at 155mph and the Busa 9.20 at over 145mph, both BONE
STOCK! There is no comparison! That 113 barely keeps up with a 600RR LMAO!!
an S1000RR struggles to make 70ftlbs or torque, most are 60 something. a
124 has double that. Also the Harley only has two cylinders, while the BMW
has four. Thats like comparing a V6 to a V8, No shit it will need more
displacement to make similar numbers.. this is just an engineering fact, it
has been a problem for Ducati forever. 124ci FXR will go bottom tens,
"most" showroom stock ZX14's and Busas run about that.
You don't even understand what I was saying lol! It has nothing to do with
resale value, it has to do with wasting money to GO FAST! You don't buy a
Harley to mod in an attempt to go fast. It makes absolutely no sense lol.
They are slow as hell to begin with, and are slow as hell modded. A guy I
know spent 8000 in mods to make a whopping 111whp HAHAHA! I didn't buy my
bike to care about resale value either!
Your right, they aren’t fast. 124 hp and 124 Torque stock wouldn’t be fast.
Even with a heavy rider, it’s beating most of anything red light to red
light bro. (most street racing) quarter mile /400 meters. They won’t keep
up on a freeway run but any other day it won’t be touched like I said. A
good Harley tune should be make a HP per inch of motor.
He had his entire motor rebuilt top to bottom! I dunno what he was thinking
either lol. I don't how an S&S 124 couldn't be touched? It's still not
fast, especially considering the weight of most of those bikes.
Lol! Fair enough but whatever your dude did for $8000 and got 111hp is a
joke. He could have a brand new S&S 124 polished for that kind of loot and
wouldn’t be able to be touched.
Because a Harley with money put into it or not will hold its value fast or
not. Unfortunately, your cool 750 will never be worth what you paid for it
no matter what.
check out their website. damn near the entire Sportster line is under $10k.
tho be spending $17k on a harley, you have to be lookin at one of their
"classic" baggers.
@m1brett Just some advice, if you are going to do mods some require others
to get the full potential. I did a K&N air filter will full Akrapovic
exhaust and only noticed a slight difference. Once I put in the Power
Commander III usb in and mapped it I noticed a big improvement. Airfilter
and exhaust change the air to fuel ratio, by custom mapping it you get its
full potential. Another good mod was a 520 pitch chain, most do -1/+2 but I
did not notice much of a difference so I did -1/+3.
I'm a fan of both cars and bikes, and im not surprised that the bike won,
the power to weight ratio is much higher on bikes. But why hate on the
owner of the porsche, they're fucking awesome.
nice. in this vid u can see how awesome the CBR 600 RR is. my girlfriend
owns it and its hard to follow her xD (i ride a honda cbf 600) very fast
bike!
kommen endlich richtige videos zustande :) man muss ja schlißlich meine
ttalente fördern xDD
gar nicht schlecht wie du fährst .... action genug, top! nun aufnaheme???
etwas höher wurde etwas besser von hier zusehen ;) ansonsten weiter so
racen !
+MeltingRubberZ28 Thanks buddy. I'm too nervous to no lift shift...the clutch I'm using is a heavy duty single disc and it just doesn't like to go into gear sometimes at high rpm. Hopefully swapping it out for a twin disc soon and it should shift like butter. The car is on 15 psi now and honestly should beat that bike. Going with a larger turbo soon, so some bike racing will follow!
Beautiful car man, I've saw videos from the inside, but 1st time seeing it
from the outside. Props! My 86 Iroc is ready for a LS swap. Lol. Your setup
is the power I'm thinking. Sweet
I'm sure I wont regret it. I have a 01 ZO6 with a forged LS6 & Twin Turbos making 660rwhp on 93 octane. I've just been thinking that it's time to upgrade the Iroc. It was built to have a nasty street car. It is now on race gas & to much for the street. 388 Bow tie block with a D2 Procharger. LOL I guess I went over board. Check out my channel to see my cars. Peace
congrats on getting that car into the magazine.. thats a milestone for any
car guy. love these cars as i own one and cant wait to start my new build.
cheers
