If you travel internationally a lot you should look into T-mobile they offer unlimited data and text in most international areas for no additional charge! It's so freaking useful!

They have a pretty similar system in Miami with the Miami-Dade County Transit. I can't believe you blew past the Bubble Trouble place without trying anything! LOL!

We stayed half in downtown Dubai and half on the Palm. I don't recommend staying on the palm because of how terrible the traffic is to get off of it, but def also look into staying in the JBR area or Marina if you're wanting to be near the ocean.
