Nomadic Family Travel Blog- Mud Volcano, Colombia- Lodo El Totumo- Life on the Road with Kids
//www.thenomadicfamily.com So as we travel in the world and through Colombia as a nomadic family, we passed via Volcán de Lodo El Totumo on the way ...
omg. i'm so sorry. i just now 6 months later saw this posting of yours.
wanted to thank you for the warm invitation and we're sorry that it did not
work out for us to see you in the end. we're now in thailand, but when we
come by your side of the world again (and we know we will) we'll stop by
and see you then, for sure. many hugs to you and thank you for reaching out
to us with so much love. gabi
@thenomadicfamily Ok, It's is quite near Medellín, the town`s name is
Guarne (oriente antioqueño), you just have to drive for about 30-35
minutes. Depending on the day you're coming I will be able to meet you in
Medellin and drive together to my place, I have a KLR650...that's how I get
to know about you...Halfthrottle videos.
@carlosenrique99 have absolutely no idea. when you walked up the stairs we
could smell the sulfur (strong smell) but in the pool, i don't recall
smelling anything. either we got accustomed to it, or we were drugs by it,
or... it was methane and sulfur. the earth kept burping up these huge
bubbles. whatever it was, it was fun!
@thenomadicfamily Hi, Sorry I just got home from work, lots of meetings
today. Lasts days of school, final reports, meetings with parents...endless
meetings. Now I'm home. Where are you guys? Do you have a car to ride to my
place? It's 30 minutes away from Medellin, Medellin-Bogota route.
we're so glad you enjoyed it. we looooved totumo. the kids are asking today
if we can go back again. subscribe if you'd like to get our movies right to
your inbox. thanks for the comment! colombia is just gorgeous! and you
colombian.... soooooo nice and warm and loving! gabi
@0007wala cool. give us a bit more details so that we can check on the map
if we can drive that route to get to you. we'd be honored. thanks for the
invitation!
yes, yes. you really know the roads david3943! we were
amazing/shocked/surprised how lovely the people and roads were. everyone
told us 'beware of scary colombia!' and it was beautiful in every way. we
are in cambodia right now, but we adored cartagena (the reina festival was
unreal!), totumo, medillin, & taganga. colombia was amazing. you there now?
your english is perfect. r u a student/expat/tourist. on our blog, the
nomadic family, there's a post called 'power outages of the soul' u'll like
Thanks!!! I'm from Colombia, exactly from Barranquilla (1 hour from Totumo
Volcano) and my hobby is riding my motorcycle and go to know small towns
across my country. In my videos you can see some of the towns I've visited.
I'm really glad you like the country and if you come back here, It would be
great to take some cofee, thanks my friend!!!
i thought so too but in those countries water pours from the skies and the
rivers with such plenty, that you don't see much thinking about
conservation of water. in taganga, colombia and again in lima, peru, oh,
and in la fortuna, costa rica i did see signs to save water.. so , there is
some awareness...
Yes, that place is between Caucasia, Tarazá, Valdivia, Yarumal and
Medellín, that´s are the small towns in the road from the north to the
center of the country (Troncal de Occidente). Are you still in Colombia???
i think you are right. we were on the way to medellin from totumo or the
other way around. i'm glad they're not wasting water as you say, cuz it's
tons of water... pipes pouring freely for miles all along the road.
If I´m not bad, this is the road going to Medellín. And is not a waste of
water, is just that the water goes down from the mountains and some people
take part of this water in this hoses. Great video man!
colombia is not a place to look for a job the wages are very low. there are more videos uploaded by americans leaving in medellin but most of them are retired. living in medellin is very nice though. beautiful women . not to mention women from cali and barranquilla.
Hi. Can you share here why you finally chose Medellin over Lima Peru/ some
of your previous writings you were quite impressed with Lima. If you'd
rather answer privately let me know. Thank you.
Medellin has a better climate and better investment opportunity. I also like the quality of living in Medellin. People are nicer and women are more beautiful. People in Lima and Peru are great but not like the people in Medellin.
+SIRA063 I don't think Venezuela is going to get better any time soon. Would def recommend to wait right now its in pretty bad shape. We have a day trading academy here you can find more information: //thedaytradingacademy.com
I was born in Venezuela. I haven't been back since I left the country in 1990. I would love to go back but I hear and see things on TV and Vice Channel that Venezuela is pretty rough now, even without the riots. Would you suggest waiting to go back? I just started learning how to trade as well. What is the best way to study for trading? Right now I am just trying to memorize the terminology so that I can understand what the youtube instructors are talking about lol.
Where the hell are you? The close caption didn't recognize what you said
either. I am going there in June and would like to eat outside Pablado.
Thanks
+Girasol Pharma The house is not in Poblado it is actually in Laureles. I dont like Poblado because its very commercial and overly touristy. I prefer Laureles because it has all of the positives and benefits of Poblado but none of the negatives.
