you might want to familiarize yourself with castle doctrine. it only applies to someone entering your property in order to perpetrate either unlawful physical harm, or unlawful deadly force on yourself or others INSIDE of your home. it does not mean that you can shoot the mailman, or a jehova witness because they walked up to your door. if you shoot someone for stealing your mail, you will be spending the next 15-20 years of your life in prison. there is ABSOLUTELY no way you could argue that you were in fear of your life in that situation
