Now I understand why the original pad is so awful, they want to force us into buying this. How do the buttons and bumpers feel? They are my main problem with the original as they feel very vague and require a very firm press. Does the d-pad still have that 90's microswitch feel and sound?

The buttons,bumper and everything feel great. It feels like a high end good quality product. You can feel the difference in every single way. Trust me,I'll be the first to tell you it's super expensive,but it's well worth if if you're serious about your gaming.

@Gavin RSPS I'm 5/11 and the bikes in my videos fit just fine. The X19 is bigger I've answered that at least 25 times. I don't think I'll buy a SSR,but thanks.

Ok i apologize for swearing, I was wrong to do that. But a monitors with low response time gives people advantages who dont have a monitor. A headset like turtle beaches and astros allows people to hear things when gaming more fluid like hearing footsteps. Trust me thats a huge advantage. This just gives you the ability to play the way you want to! The paddles are meant so you never have to remove your thumb on the controller. Technically people can do this without this by holding there controller in this weird way. They call it claw. But yes, this is going to put those with normal controllers at a slight disadvantage. This isnt going to make someone pro. But will give them the edge they need.

Does anyone know if the regular Xbox One controller works with PC games properly? I know that a lot of Windows or Steam games work with Xbox360 controllers right out of the box. What about regular XboxOne controllers? How big is the games-compatibility list for it? Say if I got Bioshock 1, Fallout3, or RAGE for PC. Will those games work with the Xbox One controller? Or will they only work with Xbox360 and mouse/keyboard because they're older games?

But overall it would be slight and not really noticeable in most situations.It doesn't even compare that to the amount of advantage a good mouse can give over a cheap one on PC, either.

+ColaKaktus So send your controller away (assuming you have two so can still play) away for weeks for them to make it all pretty.Alternatively you could sell your standard game pad for $20-30 and go down to the store and buy and Elite for not much more the same day. Keeping in mind Scuf only modify a standard controller whereas the Elite has sturdier metal finishings, sticks and a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack built in. Also the Elite is customizable to a much finer degree on the Xbox than the Scuf.Did you also add in the USB cable and case options from Scuf to be a fair comparison?Scufs are pretty and all, but they have some serious competition in the Elite whichever way you slice it.

Built in batteries are a FAIL. It literally doesn't make sense... I have unlimited play time with my controllers if I want it... Ps4 you have to recharge and plug in after like 2 hours.. Ps4 built in batteries have horrendous battery life.. Filthy casuals won't understand the importance of this.. Sorry ps4

Jetz mal ganz abgesehen vom thema: ich verliere echt die lust auf videospiele. ich spiele sonst gerne aber seit die spiel nur noch schlechter werden und fast jeder spieler ein 10 jahre altes kind ist, macht gamen kein bock mehr. bo3 gekauft. 2h gespielt und weckgeworfen. das game fuckt up und naja nur 10 jährige dort. selbe bei destiny. dann gibt es spiele die nicht auf den bereits schlechten multiplayer basiert sind. nicht einmal solche spiele kann mann noch spielen. ich habe ganz einfach kein bock mehr. und schon recht keine nerven mehr für das theater. lg. domi :)

Sony interessiert sich mehr für Spiele(exclusives) und VR, ich seh's nicht kommen, vor allem weil "Elite-ProGamer" nicht so zum Image von Sony passt. Allgemein eigentlich heißt "Pro" professionell und man meint vor allem welche die es beruflich oder wie bei CS:GO auf Wettkämpfen spielen :D Also jeder der sich selbst so bezeichnet denke mal drüber nach :D

Zumindest hoffe ich das ;D Mit LBP3 haben Fans Final Fantasy 7 nachgebaut. Ziemlich krass. :D

+G3EX Ja da haste recht, sonst hätte man bestimmt auch schon mal irgendwo ne Ankündigung von Sony gelesen. Ich finde daß in Zukunft einige sehr gute Exklusivtitel auf der PS4 rauskommen (NoMan´s Sky und Uncharted 4 zB), aber zur Zeit siehts schon irgendwie mau aus. Bis auf Bloodborne vielleicht. Bei der XOne bin ich eigentlich nur noch auf QuantumBreak gespannt.

Bei den Exklusivtiteln seh ich ehrlich gesagt keine der beiden Konsolen zur Zeit allzu weit vorne. The infamous grey plastic piece on 1/4 of the analog stick interior that pops out and ruins smooth operation (especially for sports games like Madden, FIFA, NHL) is still there in this $150 POS. They are never going to fix this issue that is causing countless broken controllers for this generation. I will never buy a Microsoft console again.

+tfowl After replacing 3 Standard Xbox Controllers since launch for the unforgivable stick issues, I've just returned my second elite controller due to the sticks popping out, so you're right - the first one felt absolutely brilliant until I hit about 350 hours of gameplay, then the left stick popped out to the point it was purely being held in place by the controllers shell and as a result, felt/sounded very poor + introduced stick drift & the second controller the right stick popped out straight out of the box as I was replacing the sticks after a few hours play I found it rattling/knocking on rotation, no way it was going to last so I've just started the returns process.It's a real shame as I've fallen in love with the back paddles, the Razer Wildcat seems to be the only real option but I really hate light weight controllers they feel cheap & its wired only so all in all, in a certain creek without a paddle.

$150 and it still uses the same shitty 25 cent thumbstick modules as the regular controller. At that pricepoint I would expect something a bit more higher quality. These things are gonna wear out just as fast as the regular controller. Except now you are out 150 bones.

+Vyas Chady I meant to say style of gaming. I don't play rough but with the style of games these days where you have to move fast and dodge, slide, exo jump etc, weak controllers just limits the whole gaming experience. My issue was always the left thumsticks falling apart too easily.

You exactly right, and I was lucky enough to see an opened one before it was released, and immediately cancelled my preordered. there is no point, because of my strike off gaming, I have replaced 2 controllers, about 5 times through Microsoft. it was talking way too long to replace, then I decided to do it myself. I offered all parts etc, did the first one, and damaged the circuit bored when I was desoldering with a normal Soldering iron. For the second one, I did not replace the joystick module, I instead used a glue gun and glued that part that keeps falling. I had big hope for the Elite, but after seeing what's inside, now I'm inclined to getting the Razer wildcat, the only problem for me is that it is not wireless. Mind you the replacement joysticks is 60 cents, and to see these in an professional type controllers is just sad. They did not even modify it.

I disliked this video...... Mainly because you literally edited out the only important part that really needed to be seen for the elite, the removal of the rear circuit board. The rest of the video it just like taking apart a standard Xbox one controller. Now I'm afraid that if I open mine up to swap out the LED, I'll damage the rear circuit board.

Just use a t6 to un screw it, if you need to take the very back off just pull the ribbon cable off, but do it some carefully. I the cable will connect very easily back in.

Naja ich bin nicht so begeistert von dem Ding. Wegen solchen Sachen wird die Balance in Games weiter zerstört. Zwar gibt's das schon wenn mann den Router manipuliert oder Controller umbaut. Aber wenn mann schon den Controller so umstellen kann dass die Tasten schneller reagieren und sich so einen miesen Vorteil verschafft ist das in meinen Augen nicht fair gegebenüber anderen Gamern die die normale Ausstattung haben. Ich finde es eine nette Idee, aber wenn sollte es nur für E-sports limitiert werden und in öffentlichen Games nicht nutzbar sein.

Ich kann die Leute nicht verstehen die über den Preis heulen... Wenn ich mir ne gute Gamer Tastatur (100 Euro min.) oder ne gute Gamer Maus (80 Euro min.) kaufen will ist das genau das selbe. Ich selbst zocke quasi nie mit nem Controller aber überlege ihn zu kaufen. Eine besser Unterstützung an Win 10 wirst du nicht bekommen als über Microsoft direkt und da der Controller so hochwertig verarbeitet ist und nicht nur ein 0815 Plastik Produkt bekomme ich echt lust ihn einer Neuen Tastatur usw. vorzuziehen. Zudem andere Controller in der Qualität und den features genauso viel oder mehr kosten. *Eurer Problem ist das ihr meint eure Prioritäten und Preisvorstellungen wären das maß aller dinge. Ihr kauft dafür irgendwelche Produkte oder Marken die andere Leute nicht nachvollziehen können!* P.s. Materialkosten sind vollkommen un relevant. Der eigentliche Aufwand ist die Verarbeitung. Umso mehr Qualität in ein Produkt gesteckt wird umso aufwändiger ist die Herstellung selbiges. Und selbst wenn eine Maschine ein Produkt komplett zusammen bastelt dann muss man immernoch die Maschine bezahlen und die kostet erst recht . Zum schluss kommt dann Vermarktung und vertrieb etc.

+TimmePipoJan Du vergisst die Software, die Elektronik usw.Ein Controller muss ja auch nur so viele Funktionen besitzen wie er wirklich braucht.Aber der Preis Rechtfertigt sich nunmal aus mehr Funktion und höhere Qualität.Auch wenn man viele Details und Neuerungen/Verbesserungen weder richtig sieht noch wirklich als Laie feststellen kann.Nach wie vor Rechtfertigt sich ein Preis für ein Produkt nur an den Kosten + Gewinn nicht daran wie nützlich man es findet...

+Kerdtress über die "perfektion" kann ich nciht all zu viel sagen. der is halt qualitativ hochwertiger zusammengeschustert als der standart xbox controller + zusatztasten + austauschbare teile. gibt vllt leute die sich ein alternatives tastenlayout oder so wünschen. naja, was auch immer.nein, da hast du mich missverstanden, ich wollte darauf hinweisen, dass ich den preis bei dem funktionsumfang nicht zu rechtfertigen finde. indes bei maus und tastaturen eine qualitativ hochwertige tastatur eben vielfältiger einsetztbar ist. das ist in etwa so, als würdest du dir ein "super-ultra-elite-master-pro-buttermesser" holen. mag ja ganz gut sein, is aber letzten endes nur zum streichen von broten sinnvoll, während ein ordentliches küchenmesser in der gleichen preisklasse eben brote streichen kann, aber ausserhalb dessen noch vieles mehr. filetieren, tranchieren wasauchimmer.
