+Illogikia I hadn't considered that. If you have a good sound card, though, you're probably better off with a headset that doesn't come with a USB sound card. Might as well get the Hyperx Cloud 1 and save some money.
+3ThreeHeadedMonkey Yes you're right for the 3.5mm not working for 7.1 on consoles. BUT, On pc's almsot any decent sound card will have Virtual/Real 7.1 compatibility so 3.5mm will be able to have 7.1 on PC's using 3.5mm jacks.
+JuicyHero Afraid not. The 7.1 comes from the USB soundcard built into the volume control box which doesn't work when plugged into consoles. As far as I know it only connects to consoles using the 3.5mm cable which unplugs from the USB soundcard.
Me too. I was deciding on those two and there weren't any complaints about the x07s, but there were many instances that the Hyperx Cloud 2s were the best at either comfort or sound quality, while the reviews for the Turtle Beaches seemed almost neutral, so I think I'll go for these.
