Medicine synthesisises the good properties of a plant (the THC from the cannabis plant) and mixes that with properties from other plants to create a medicine, this a more effective way of creating medicine than drinking homeopathy, having your back cracked or going to an indian swweat lodge. Why because it is supported by evidence. I am sure cannabis by itself has some good effects, but no good doctor will recommend you smoke cannabis everyday for the same reason they don't tell you to smoke tobacco every day.You say messed with in a lab I say the scientific method. Evidence and peer-review, not new-age magic and wishful thinking.
