a little tip for you. A subbass in a sin wave wont be picked up on a normal
sound system such as a mobile speaker. However you can choose a square wave
top multiply the sin waves in the waveform to make it autoble on normal
soundsystems! Thanks for the tutorial btw
For all FL Studio guys: You can do the same by
1. cutting a wav. sound into an extremely short chunk, select it
and turn the crossfader up (I think thats what it is -> "crs", right side,
above the wave image)
2. open piano roll
3. give it the length you like.
4. turn the "mul"(next to "pitch"), up or down (optional)
5. than add reverb and compressors and so forth. Its great fun
Works great with ride cymbals, which you can turn into nice loungy sounds,
and with hihats which you can turn into trollphace like synths and some
other stuff.
VST Preset #11: TM88 (808 Mafia) Metal Sound FX [I Found those VST Presets #11]
Want to know what VST presets your favourite producers are using?! Welcome to the 11th video from my ''I Found those Popular Presets'' series. The purpose of ...
It's probably due to the modulation of the sound. Have you tried switching off the oscillators of the parts you don't want? (I explained this in the video).Alternatively, keep playing around with it (whilst recording to audio in Edison) until you get what you want, then crop the sound and export it. No more need for nexus :)
Aye, it's used heavy by Lex, 808 Mafia etc. Lex Luger's signature synth string sound is in here for example.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hxc_uvYp6Bk&list=PLDWFyhZcolPyXp_6pCfc0UCf5S7mFhLFP&index=23
