Edelweiss, the flower of the Alps 雪絨花

Ariolo Long Freight Train
This video shows a very long electrically hauled freight train carrying many dozens of lorries worth of goods - in the process improving road safety, reducing air ...
This is the way to do it. Our corrupt politicians blocked a private company
from building an electric freight railway from Liverpool to the Channel
Tunnel. They also blocked rail electrification. Now the're fighting for
their maggoty careers, Network Rail has announced a 4,800km+ Rail
Electrification programme for the UK.
You are right. Actually, I remember when oil went to $150 a barrel they
were wetting themselves 'cos the roads were empty. Grown men were crying in
petrol stations (sad, aren't they). As long as these pillocks are running
around like headless chickens, perhaps it might give someone a chance to do
something constructive.
Power politics, and oil money - have you heard about the £2.6bn windfall
the govt will earn from tax because oil prices have risen and petrol is now
5p a litre more expensive than it was a month ago? In short, the treasury
has a vested interest in people using cars / not using public transport!

Britain needs its railways. This should be a common scene on lines like the
Woodhead, Waverley, Skipton-Colne, Leamside, Spen valley line. If you want
to fight climate change, reduce road traffic, increase employment
opportunities this is want is needed
I know. But much better than 50 HGV's creating danger on our roads and
polluting the air which we breathe. For more info and link to my website
