I think its because your such a new frontier country where guns had to be part and parcel of the new way of living. It then got ingrained culturally to your way of life. It didnt over here, were an old small island, gun culture is prevelant in the countryside where there has been a need and always will be so well have shotguns and rifles. Weve always been under the control of someone and law and order is fairly tight. Its a tough call, if youre part of the good and law abiding you can apply for a license, if all goes well then you can own anything from a .22 all the way up to a .Barrett.

That sucks!! How could the English allow that to happen to your country?? If that we're to happen here in the states, there would be revolution! We Americans LOVE our guns! So much so we put it in our Constitution/Bill of Rights!

Everythings been very heavily licensed, handguns that use bullets are banned as are fully automatic rifles, most of what you see on the wall is Airsoft or air powered
